Wow - what an honor to receive the Impact Award at this year’s 34th Women’s Leadership Conference! 💫

When I moved to Delaware in 2019, I saw a state full of endless potential. The narrative that “Delaware is boring” didn’t sit right with me—it’s a place where we can thrive personally and professionally. That’s why I started First State Destinations, to change how we experience the First State - support local businesses, and build connections that go far beyond state lines - we’re Delaware-based, not bound 😉

This journey hasn’t been easy. But through moments of doubt and challenge, I’ve learned that purpose is stronger than any obstacle. My faith in Jesus Christ has been my foundation, guiding me with grace, courage, and an open heart to stay aligned with my calling.

To my parents, who supported me even when staying in Delaware felt uncertain—thank you for believing in this vision. To our community, my seen + unseen collaborators, and the chamber for this incredible recognition—thank you for showing that together, we can redefine what’s possible.

This work is more than just showcasing things to do—it’s about uncovering Delaware, uplifting its people, and fostering a shared pride in this beautiful state. As I step into a new chapter—becoming a mother this March—I’m inspired to continue building a Delaware my child can be proud of, surrounded by innovation, creativity, and connection.

Leadership isn’t about perfection—it’s about perseverance, community, and using your voice to make an impact. Let’s keep inspiring one another and moving forward—together.

It’s my birthday, hello 28! 🍂☕️🤍 I’m grateful for the new experiences and lessons learned {Read More ⬇️}

🤰🏽found out we’re welcoming baby in 2025

✈️ traveled places I’ve only ever dreamed of, Bali changed my life (with wonderful stops in San Francisco and South Korea) and St. Lucia was a blessed addition

✍️ designed Delaware streetwear t-shirts & shipping to places as far as Colorado and Michigan (linked on profile)

🎉 added value to the delaware marketing & entrepreneurial space, grateful to receive my first individual awards honor (see you on 11/21)

✝️ endless hours of relationship building, praying, crying, pleading, smiling, laughing, learning, & studying with Jesus

At times I battle finding the time to share ALL that I get into, because what’s visible isn’t always valuable but we’re a transparent community that’s continuously growing and a little diary moment can be helpful to our new faces!

I’m forever grateful to be God’s chosen vessel for this venture and the roads being full of twists and turns, but we’re just getting started and I can’t wait to continue the journey.
