We will provide students with a resource through which they will learn what to expect from their classes before they register. This will reduce add/drop numbers, help teachers maintain focused and dedicated classes which, in turn, will keep the average grades and retention rate higher for the college. Our goal is threefold:
- FOR STUDENTS: To provide the ability to compare classes and w
ork load, and to better tailor their learning experience based on their own personal learning style. College Courseload will enrich students’ education by better preparing them to handle their courseload.
- FOR TEACHERS: To increase student retention levels during the add/drop period by providing students with a more informed idea of what they are signing up for before they register. College Courseload will assist teachers in exchanging ideas, which will help them improve their courses and also help those teaching a course for the first time get ideas about how to best execute their new class.
- FOR SCHOOLS: To increase performance figures by assisting students in selecting courses better suited for their learning styles, thereby improving student GPAs across the board. Having better-prepared students also leads to fewer failures and withdrawals, which will significantly improve a college’s ranking. Partnering with College Courseload will also save a school money in terms of printing costs and help reduce their carbon footprint.
