It’s official! Spring run-off is underway on the Snake River.

The river community measures the river in cubic feet per second. In the winter, this river is usually around 1,000 CFS. Today, the river was flowing at more than 4,000 cfs.

With warm temperatures in the forecast, this trend should continue until mid to late June!

Bald eagles are the most common bird we see along the Snake River.

Don’t forgot to ask your guide about some of the resident eagles who call the Snake River home. There is even an eagles nest that has been in the same tree for almost 60 years!
