I had a cancellation for the weekend if you are looking for lodging. I am willing to take off $100/ night for the lodge rental. Fishing has been excellent, tightline nymphing has been extremely productive. Fly fishing and fly tying instruction available by the hour. 1/2 and full day guides available on the Rapid river or Magalloway river. Thanks! JP

We managed to save our snow last night. The remaining 8” of snow looks like the surface of the lake. Hard and frozen.

Temps after dark went from 45-52 degrees and the rain came In horizontally from the west around 9 pm. We had a few 45-50 mph gusts come through. It amazes me that old barn is still standing.

Currently snowing, mountains are in and out of squalls.

Looking like a good weekend for a trail side we**ie roast up north.

Good morning folks

Good news

Logging operation around the round pond area has finished and the section of trail from town at the bowling alley to r5 and hunters cove area has been opened up
Please use caution in this area. There may be hazards in the trail that we can't cover until we get more snow. It's groomed and passable just keep your speed down through there.

The rest of the trail system is fully groomed as well. We'll continue as temperatures and conditions allow expect spring riding conditions in spots that have low snow cover

Return to groomer barn 4-6 for dealing of cards

Will have hot chocolate and smores.

Excellent fat bike conditions, packing and grooming while the snow had some moisture paid off. The 1” of sugary snow we got the other day was the icing on the cake. The conditions should remain good throughout the week with cold nights and days in the mid 20’s.
It sure is nice to see the sun instead of overcast skies for a change!

We got a nice coating of snow out of that last storm, it made for some perfect riding. A good amount of ice in aziscohos, we crossed the lake in one spot 6-10” of good solid ice. The edge of the lake was the only wet spot.
