My friend Margaret and I did a thing! We created a group geared towards family travel, to Disney, Universal, cruises, etc. Travel with kids cam seem overwhelming and as moms ourselves, we know how crucial these family vacations are. Core family memories are made, the family gets to laugh and play together with no chores in sight, and travel greatly expands a child's mind.

Last night might have been soooo rainy during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but Monster's Laugh Floor was a highlight. London was determined to talk to the 2 headed monsters, and it ended up hilarious. Thank you Walt Disney World!

🚨📣Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025.

If you ask me...Disney is the place to celebrate Halloween, both on land and at sea. The party goes from August 9th- Oct 31st. Included in your park ticket is all the Halloween decorations, spooky photo spots and haunted treats. With a party ticket, you share the park with a limited number of other guests and allll the villains come out to play! There are exclusive Halloween parades, snacks, meet and greats with your favorite bad guys, stage shows, fireworks and trick or treating.

On the high seas you can trick or treat, party with villains and classic Disney friends in costumes. Listen to stories by a spooky tree and watch Broadway caliber stage shows.

When is your next trip?

I'll share mine, and a trick we use to maximize the money we spend on airfare.

In 79 days we will have a Disney World trip, staying at the Polynesian, a bucket list hotel stay for me. We'll enjoy the resort, the parks, and party with villains at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Then we are going to board the Disney Wish, the newest crusie ship in the fleet. As soon as we step off that cruise, we are walking right over to Royal Caribbean's newest ship, Utopia (it's not even sailing yet!).

We planned to do WDW and the Wish together to save on travel costs. Plus, the cruise is a fantastic way to unwind and relax after the thrill and million steps at the parks. I saw a 3 day sailing on Utopia that I could say no to. The 2nd adult was 60% off, and kids were free. (Seriously, never pay full price for RC). By adding it to the end of our existing vacation we could still only pay for 1 round-trip flight and not have to take extra vacation days.

We do this often, and it makes for an epic vacation that actually will save you money in the long run.
