This group actually started out a lot bigger but got whittled down by 'curfew'.for the younger ones. At least the weather was good for a night in Old Town.

Out on the Mall tonight with this family from WV.
It was nice to have their doggos too. One of them snarled at the front door of Partlow Insurance! Maybe Jimmy the Bathroom Guy is back!

After being caught at the Loudoun/Boscawen intersection during last evening's monsoon this pair decided not to chance going forth on Saturday night.
So we had Sunday night on the town under cloudy but dry skies.

My group tonight, after deciding they wanted to play chicken with the rain. It worked out and while we briefly got a a sprinkling it was not sufficient to dampen our 'spirits'.
Here they are listening to Linda at the GW regale them with stories of the permanent 'guests'.

Out on the town on what was a quiet Sunday evening until someone decided to use up the last of the fireworks on Indian Alley. For a few moments it sounded like 3rd Wi******er.
Peace was restored a few minutes later and we were on our way.

My lively group this evening, out on this night before Independence Day.
We tarried briefly on Indian Alley because apparently Colonel Patton was watching us from the top floor of the Williams House.
At the north bollards we heard a ripple of loud fireworks and I told them if they multiplied that noise by several thousand they'd have a fair idea of life in Wi******er during the numerous occasions when war came a-calling.

Kudos to this couple who braved a major traffic snafu on 81 to get here from Martinsburg to experience some history here in Old Town.
