This event is a special opportunity to express gratitude to the dedicated individuals who keep our community safe, restore essential services, and facilitate recovery efforts.
Following our morning SHP Bunk Bed Build volunteer event (8am-12pm), we’ll gather to raise a glass and thank our essential workers for their tireless efforts.

Town staff, PD, and PW have completed an initial assessment of downed trees and limbs. Duke Energy has been notified, and barricades are up around affected areas. No major power lines are down; the outages are due to blown transformers.

The Downtown Business Committee hosts a Food Truck Round-Up on the 4th Friday of the Month from 5pm to 9:30pm. Certain months will feature live music (this will always be indicated, if it’s not, it’s safe to assume there will not be live music).

Please be sure to also include a photo of your truck, a sample menu, and photos of your menu items.
