Experience first class guided waterfowl hunting on Colorado's majestic Front Range with Front Range Guide Service. Your Colorado guided goose or duck hunt will take place in areas that are located within an easy forty-five minute drive of Denver. Most of our hunting locations are centered near the Windsor area, although we manage farms from Wellington south to Longmont and well east of Greeley. Th

is area encompasses about a 50 mile radius to put you where you need to be for the best shooting opportunities at that time. All properties we hunt are leased exclusively by us and managed properly to provide you with the waterfowl hunt you should only expect from a waterfowl outfitter. Now the Eastern Front Range is known by many in the waterfowl industry as the best Canada Goose hunting in the lower 48. Jeff Colwell owner/guide has been hunting waterfowl here for his entire life, and has watched this resource grow from the two goose limits when he was young to the thousands of birds,and liberal limits of today. Colorado also has some exceptional duck hunting, and can often last way into the late season. It is not uncommon to bag as many as seven or more separate species in one outing.Dove hunting on the Front Range often can be fantastic with stable weather. Come experience what we as wingshooters here on the Front Range are fortunate enough to enjoy daily from mid-fall through the entire winter.

We had a fantastic week of snow goose hunting, meeting new friends and spending lots of time in the blind creating jokes and laughing made the time fly! Conditions are the biggest battle during the spring snow goose conservation season here in Nebraska, but day in and day out we had many of opportunities to shoot big numbers of birds!

Shooting adult snow geese back peddling over the decoys is typically something that’s only experienced when given the right conditions and on this day the Lord blessed us with those conditions. From rain, to freezing rain, to a ground blizzard we sat through all these conditions on a morning hunt and made a pile!

With warmer than normal temperatures we have been battling against warm, stale, and no wind conditions. Although remaining consistent has been a constant battle this spring season the Lord continues to bless us with extremely good hunts! Snow goose hunting is full of highs and lows, but if your faith remains in the Lord everything else will follow.

Cold temps and snow isn’t something that naturally comes to mind when you think of snow goose hunting, but the zero degree temperatures and hard north winds sure made for a fun hunt on this day!

It has been an incredible start to our spring 2024 conservation season! We stuck to our guns and decided to hunt strictly migrators knowing that there’s still very few juvies in the area and lots of geese pushing hard heading back north. Although we are long past our peak numbers for the first time ever in the month of February we are looking forward to the many good days to come! With all of this said we give the glory to God and praise him through the highs and lows.

Just like that we are off and running for spring snows 2024! Although the temperature and conditions were less then ideal we still prevailed in fooling some of the leading edge snow geese. We are going to take a handful of days off wrap of some loose ends from canada goose season here and Colorado then we will be right back after the snow geese in what we think is shaping up to be an incredible season!

Today marks the last of our 104 day canada goose season here in Colorado. We first and foremost want to give all the glory to God for our season knowing we owe it all to him. The long season was a roller coaster of a ride including lots of highs and lots of lows between a constant battle against one of the warmest winters we have ever experienced. Although the conditions weren’t always ideal we had an incredibly successful season having more client shot birds then ever before! We want to thank everyone that hunted with us this season and the phenomenal team of guides we are so blessed to have. Although our season has come to an end here in Colorado we are not done yet, we will shortly be east bound and down heading to Nebraska for the spring conservation, but on that we cheers to another amazing canada goose season here on the front range! 🍻

This past weekend wrapped up our final weekend of clients from the 2023-2024 canada goose season. Even though the weather conditions have been everything but ideal the season we were thankful for yet again another successful several days of hunting on the front range! Just FIVE days remain which means it’s time to get even with them!

Hunting has been incredible the past several days! With a huge warm up and birds returning out of the south it can’t get much better. We are booking more hunts the next two weeks due the amount of fresh birds we have in the area. So if you have been wanting to get out before the end of the season now is the time!
