Absolutely the toughest season I have ever experienced with Ducks. But I promise I will miss the chase when it’s over with in just a few weeks. Time to finish strong and capitalize on this back half of the season!

I had the honor and privilege of sending off and his wedding party this season.

I met this guy in college. He moved from Maine to NC. Brad and I had talked about the outdoors several times and I knew Brad was an avid fisher turns out he is also pretty good at pulling the trigger. We have been trying to find a way to connect our schedules and I could not think of a better way! What a blast it was to meet some new friends from Maine and some guys I hadn’t seen in forever! Some core memories were added to the bank this day!

Mabel and the boys got a few this past Saturday. We look forward to this week’s hunt as this change in weather seems to be bringing more birds in!

RSO will keep pushing as our favorite season is right around the corner! AND YES WE DO HAVE SOMETHING BIG IN STORE FOR THE DUCKS THIS YEAR!!!!

Well, Opening day for Riverside was a tough one.

Our season opener didn’t go as planned but we still managed to scratch a few out. The boys kept a good attitude and stuck it out all day even after a field change. Our saving grace was Mrs Cara’s fajita lunch and home made cupcakes.

All and all, It was still a blessing for us at RSO to have the clients and friends we had hunting with us. We got to get back in the field and do what we love.

We will rally and stay focused for this week’s upcoming hunt. Mabel is itching to get back at it and I am very determined.

As we gear up for the 24-25 season, I am reflecting on the incredible amount of hard work and preparation that has gone into making this one the most yet. From early mornings to late nights, every bit of effort has been worth it. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been a part of this journey—your dedication and passion are truly inspiring. Here’s to a season filled with challenges, growth, and amazing achievements! Let’s make it one for the books!

We Hunt is some pretty cool places!

Have you ever wanted info on our Upland Hunts?
Our Upland Hunts dates run from October 1st-March 31st

We offer a wide variety of species including, Bob White Quail, Melanistic Pheasants as well as Standard Ring Neck Pheasants, Chukkar, Wood C**k even Grouse!

These hunts take place in Natural cover as well as planted Milo, Millet and Lespedeza fields providing excellent cover for birds! Our fields and property range from Yadkin, Forsyth, Davie, Wilkes and Ashe County. We offer small group, Family outings all the way to Corporate events.

We have hard working dogs that will put right in the middle of the action! Do you have a dog you want to work with and use? No problem! We have trained staff to help you and or your Pup regardless of your Bird hunting experience!
