We have new wilderness first responders at Adventure Treks! Not only are they equipped with the knowledge to tackle backcountry illness and injuries, they also had a ton of fun along the way. The North Cascades have some of the most stunning scenery on the planet, with sparkling turquoise lakes and mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. Pacific Northwest Adventure crushed their backpack and canoe in these "American Alps!" . . . . .
California Challenge is having a grand ol' time, with both sun and snow in the Trinity Alps and a super-fun day of rafting the Trinity River! . . . . .
Warm, sunny weather and tons of marine life greeted California students on their Lost Coast backpack! And of course we always face glitter at Adventure Treks. . . . . .
Handstands at 14,500 feet? No problem! After a rousing high-altitude backpack in the Andes, students descended to more lush terrain to revel in the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu. . . . . . .
The Olympic Peninsula is a magical place with vibrant sunsets, neverending rainbows, colorful marine life, and—in true AT fashion—tons of laughing with friends, delicious meals, and plenty of outdoor challenge. . . . . .
A few mosquitoes can't keep us down! Yellowstone students are rockin' and rollin' after a beautiful backpack through the national park and a few side trips to some pretty iconic geysers! . . . . .
Colorado Explorer has finished their backpack in Rocky Mountain National Park! Even a little thunderstorm couldn't dampen their spirits as they hiked around beautiful alpine lakes surrounded by soaring peaks. Now they're off for a ride down the Upper Colorado and then a few days of rock climbing in the Front Range! . . . . .

In between discussions and workshop, legendary dance-offs, and marveling at PNW sunsets, we also stretched our legs to compete in beloved AT traditions such as AT Olympics and Iron Chef—all while decked out in our finest flair.
Most important, we spent this week sharing knowledge and building the friendships that serve as the foundation for AT’s community-focused approach to outdoor adventure. We are so proud to have one of the highest instructor retention rates in the industry, and weeks like this really show us why. We’re so excited for your students to get to know this incredible group of people!
