Vienna Square is an amazing community. It's Mr Rogers neighbourhood. You go for a walk everyone says hello, or waves and some stop to chat. When I was moving in a neighbour brought us soup, she could see we were too busy to cook. Another neighbour stopped in to say hello and see if we needed anything. I complained at the number of pieces it would take to put the bed together. She and her husband put it together for us. Someone commented this week you can stay to yourself or join the activities, your choice. A small community but a wonderful one where people are kind and friendly.

Storm is over and everyone is safe. We are so glad to have a solid concrete block home in an amazing seniors community. Unfortunately our community has voted to not allow short term rentals. We miss sharing our home except with family, long term and in times of need.

So far only wind and rain in Central Florida so all is good. Storm is expected to go right over us tonight. Normally hurricanes lose power as they travel over buildings and trees on land so are less dangerous when they arrive in Winter Haven. This however is an unusual storm so only time will tell.

Its finally looking like a home away from home. All the pictures are hung, all the amazon deliveries are put together (thanks to many friends) and we are enjoying being here. We can actually sit in the lanai and enjoy the sunshine. Bike rides every morning and swimming every afternoon. Restaurants are close by as are many shops and services. Life couldn't be better. We might be willing to share in March and April if anyone is interested.

The house is finally ready! We moved in April 1 and are loving it. The pool is always clear and sparkling, the neighbours have been amazing. Loving it!

Our new home is starting to form. It will only be a two bedroom but we are so excited to be closer to shops, theatre, restaurants and the bank. Our home is sold. We have loved our times in Florida so much we are moving to another home that is a two bedroom but the kitchen is bigger and be closer to restaurants, shopping and banking in WInter Haven. According to google maps we will be 1 minute further away from Disney, and only 7 minutes from Legoland. We are looking forward to sharing our new home with family and friends. February and March 2022 are now booked. We still have space in 2021 May to October with a weekly cost of $600 US plus state and local taxes. Can't beat that for a 3 bedroom home! AND Legoland has announced a "Peppa the Pig" world is opening. Their waterpark is amazing too, and its only a 25 minute drive. The Legoland annual pass is the best value in Florida.
