We decorate areas of AdventHealth for Children for Christmas, we hand make Christmassy pillowcases that gifted to children undergoing treatment in December, we partner with aother companies to bring a Christmas in July celebration to children in the hospital and we have our Christmas is Coming m

obile experience. This is a 40 foot trailer that has been convertd into Santa's mobile home. Inside children make cookies with Mrs. Claus, make a toy/gift in Santa's Tinker Shop and have one on one time with Santa himself right in Santa's man cave! We also host Santa School that is attended by Santas and Mrs. Clauses from all over the United States, present a Santa Leadership Workshop designed to develop leaders of all organizations using principles we can learn from Santa and hold Pop Ups and fundraisers throughout the year. Our ultimate goal in to build an indoor North Pole themed resort where families will spend a few days with us. Christmas Dreams...because some kids just can't wait for Christmas!

We just received word that the little blue stockings are now out and available for purchase at Wal-Mart!

You may or may not know that our brand colors are dark blue and white. Blue stockings are hard to find, but each year Wal-Mart gets a couple dozen at each store. We use them as we gift items to kids and at various events throughout the year.

If you live near a Wal-Mart and could pop in and purchase them for us, we would absolutely L-O-V-E it!

Santa Paws is Saturday, October 26, 2024! This is your chance to have your fur-babies take a photo with Santa! Have them dressed in their most festive outfit and bring a prop or two if you would like. (We will also have items available.)

Get a jump on your holiday cards and help us raise funds to provide Christmas all year long for children battling life-threatening illnesses!

For $50 you will receive a 10 minute private session with Santa for your dog or cat. You can even jump in a photo or two with them if you would like.

The Tinker Shop is another fun stop inside our Christmas is Coming mobile experience. Tinker the Elf is waiting to help them create--whether it is a toy using all kinds of fun pieces and parts or a unique-handmade ornament or keepsake, lots of magic happens here for sure.

The clickety clack of the train going around and around the ceiling of the shop entertains kids and adults alike.

In the Tinker Shop you will also find a countdown to Christmas where kids can draw a picture or leave a special message for Santa. This is just part of magic that we bring!

Today is World Beard Day! Who has a better beard than Santa?

Mark your calendars, on Saturday, November 9, 2024 we will be partnering with the Longwood Leisure Services Cruise In Car Show for Classic Cars and a Beard Contest! Yes, prizes will be given for longest beard, most decorative beard, best Santa Beard and more.

Our mobile experience will also be part of the show--so come and see Santa's Man Cave in person!

We are working to put together our first Santa Paws event! Bring your furry, four-legged loved one for a picture with Santa!

We will have private sittings (15 min each), vendors and lots of Christmas cheer for you to enjoy. More details will be coming soon.

Right now we are looking for vendors who want to partner with us. If you know of a dog walker, an animal trainer, treat maker, pet boutique owner, etc. who might want to join us please introduce us!

Part of our Christmas is Coming experience (that is the name of our mobile trailer) is that kids (and their family) get to enjoy making cookies with Mrs. Claus. As a matter of fact, that is their first stop inside!

Mrs. Claus greets the family and provides a quick tour of the kitchen and then they get down to business! Frosting cookies, fresh out of the oven, lots of sprinkles, as many marshmallows as they want and of course licking the spoon is all part of the fun! This past year each child got to create a "snow globe" cookie. Too cute!

Mrs. Claus and her elves are already working on this year's cookie! We can hardly wait to see what magical design the kids will get to create this December at AdventHealth for Children.

NoN-Leadership School happens this Friday--August 23, 2024.

This will be a fun day of learning how you can be a Nice not Naughty Leader. If you haven't registered, it's not too late! The day begins at 9:00 (door open at 8:30 for delicious coffee from Hao Bao Bao Coffee and sweet treats) and ends around 4:30.

Jeff Dixon, Tommy Pylant, Jennifer Locke, and Puglisi will teach us how to have the best relationships as we lead. We can have the best strategies but if we cannot relate to the people we lead, those we lead with, our customers or volunteers, we won't accomplish our goals.

The day ends with a panel discussion that is sure to be lively and spirited.

Lunch from Napoli's is also included so it is a FREE day of good food, wonderful information and a chance to get to know Christmas Dreams a bit better.

Did you know?

We distribute more than 500 hand-made Christmassy pillowcases each year to AdventHealth for Children to children who are receiving treatment? We have a network of sewing elves who faithfully work on these year round.

So, if you have some sewing skills, can donate fun, child friendly Christmas material or just want to donate money towards this project, you can be part of the Sewing Brigade! The pillowcases are for a standard pillow and there are tons of patterns on-line that you can use.

What a wonderful morning we had yesterday as LeeAnn shared Christmas Dreams at Start - Seminole County. Thank you so much for the invitation to unwrap what we do and present our big dream. (We didn't let Hurricane Debby stop us :)

In case you don't know--we provide Christmas experiences 365 days a year for children battling life threatening illnesses. We do so through decorating hospital rooms/waiting rooms, Christmas in July celebrations, Santa visits to the NICU, creating Christmassy pillowcases that are distributed in December to children receiving treatment, personal visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus and/or elves and our mobile experience.

Through all of these experiences we have provided more than 10,000 experiences for children in Florida and Kentucky. And there is still so much more to do!

You can join our team by volunteering, financially contributing, connecting us with others who have a heart for children/families battling life threatening illnesses and a love of Christmas and praying with us that God would provide a warehouse for us to build our North Pole themed resort!

Happy Weekend to you!

We are just days away from the start of a new school year there is excitement in the air. We are also excited as we are making plans for YOU to join us Friday, August 23, 2024 for NoN-Leadership School! This year's theme is Unwrapping the Present--untangling the relationships within leadership. Jeff Dixon is one of our presenters that day and with more than 35 years in ministry--he knows about relating with all kinds of people!

Jeff is a Transformation Architect. For more than 30 years he has worked to develop leaders, educators and help people discover the best versions of themselves. He is President of Creative Inspiration Journey School, a best selling author, creator of seven Disney related books, sports writer for University of Kentucky Basketball and lead Bible Teacher at The Church @ 434. He is an innovative thought leader and has degrees in Sociology, Theology, Themeparkology and Santa Clausology.

Time to meet another presenter for our NoN-Leadership School taking place this month.

We'd like to introduce to you Tommy Pylant. Tommy is one of our Santas here at Christmas Dreams and has a huge heart for kids. He has also been in leadership positions for more than 30 years and has had to navigate relationships with Boards, teachers, parents, volunteers, and at times, the media.

Tommy graduated from FTU with a degree in Secondary Math Education and later completed the Master’s of Education program in Educational Leadership at UCF.

He retired in 2012 after completing a 34 year career in education. During that time, he was a classroom math teacher, discipline dean, academic dean, Assistant Principal and a Principal of three middle schools. He currently serves as Vice President and treasurer for a charter school in Osceola County and helps develop policy. He continues to teach at The Church @ 434 and Circle Christian School.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from Tommy, Al, Jennifer and Jeff (who you will meet tomorrow). This is amazing group of leaders who have much to offer you as you strive to be a NICE not NAUGHTY leader!

As you are preparing for the start of another school year, we are preparing for NoN-Leadership School. This is a one day, FREE event to help develop leaders. This year's focus is Unwrapping the Present--untangling the relationships within leadership.

One of our presenters is Jennifer Locke. Jenn is a creative, fun and personable leader with a heart to see people succeed. She is also a long time friend of Christmas Dreams and we are excited she has agreed to join us again this year.

With expertise in design thinking, change management, and customer experience best practices, Jennifer has built and re-built HR shared service models and supporting processes, introduced large-scale HR technology solutions, and structured multi-tiered teams for success. Her connection with environmental and industry influencing factors, as well as internal organizational needs, has allowed Jennifer to lead HR strategy, while ensuring the processes, people impact, and connective tissue of relevant data measures stay balanced and in alignment.

Today she has the privilege of leading the customer experience efforts for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC). Leveraging the dynamics of People, Process, and Technology, the Soldier Experience Transformation at HRC is changing how the Army does HR, to support Soldiers, veterans, and their families.

One of our leaders at NoN-Leadership School is Al Puglisi. He is a dear friend of Christmas Dreams and you will learn so much from him. With the theme of Unwrapping the Present--untangling the relationships within leadership, he is the perfect choice! If you know Al, you know this is true!

Al has spent the majority of his career with Chick-fil-A as a franchisee of 3 different locations including one of the busiest in the chain in New York City. He has owned over 20 businesses and is active in the real estate market-including apartment complexes, self storage facilities and mobile home parks. He is a true serial entrepreneur and has a generous heart for people and to see them succeed. He is the husband of Becca and father to 2 wonderful teens and resides in South Florida.

a Florida based 501C3 charity that provides Christmas experiences 365 days a year for children and families who are battling life threatening illnesses. We do so through Dream Boxes (boxes full of Christmas goodies/cheer delivered to children in the hospital), Santa visits to the NICU, personal Santa visits, Christmas is Coming (our mobile experience) and our ultimate goal is to build an indoor North Pole themed resort where families will spend a few days with us. Christmas is Coming is a Christmas experience that we can take anywhere a semi trailer can fit. It’s like Santa’s “mobile home.” Children make cookies with Mrs. Claus in her kitchen, make a toy/gift in Santa's Tinker Shop and have one on one time with Santa himself right in Santa's man cave! Christmas Dreams...because some kids just can't wait for Christmas!
