Since 1923, WeHaKee Camp for Girls has been a summer home to girls of all faiths and backgrounds. In addition to girls from throughout the United States, we have campers attend from nations such as France, Russia, Mexico, Japan, Guatemala, Canada, Spain and Colombia. It is a diverse and welcoming environment where girls develop lifelong friendships with girls near and far! To create their own indi

vidualized program, WeHaKee campers choose from nearly 40 activities including horseback riding, water skiing & wake boarding, gymnastics, sailing & wind surfing, tennis, painting & pottery, swimming, camping & canoe trips, music, dance & drama, soccer & volleyball, photography, archery, arts & crafts, basketball, newspaper, biking and much more.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sister Carol. She truly loved her time at camp especially working with campers in the Art Barn. Her presence will be greatly missed at Camp WeHaKee. 🤍🕊️

Today was the final full activity day of mother daughter camp. All our families did some fun activities including water aerobics with Maggie, painting, water sports and more! We also had the camp store open for snacks and merch 🥰

Tonight we had two special activities! First up, we had a paint and sip with the moms! They got snacks and sparkling grape juice and painted memory boxes and canvases. While they were painting and snacking, the girls were putting together a talent show that was performed after! It was so much fun 🎭🎵🧃

Tonight was our mother/daughter camp welcome fire and council fire!! We had so much fun hearing everyone’s cabin callouts 🎶 We also learned the history of camp and each family got their beads representing their years here at camp 🏕️ Such a great night.

The past two days have been full of activities here at family camp. Yesterday we did a canoe trip to Barker Lake 🛶 It was the perfect day and such a pretty trip. We’ve been fishing, sailing, painting and much more! 😁💗

For dinner today we had 4 cookouts! Each group made foil dinners and s’mores! They were delicious and it was so much fun! This was followed by trivia night and games in the lodge 😋

Today was such a fun day! We had 4 different canoe trips this morning in addition to tubing 🛶🤩 We also had fishing, archery, sports, and arts/crafts & jewelry. It was so much fun!

Tonight we played 4 way capture the flag 🚩 This is always so much fun 🤩 Each team hides their flag in their area and tries to steal the other teams while not getting tagged!

This morning we had activity rotations! These included: archery 🎯, fishing 🎣, court sports 🏐, swimming, and canoe 🛶

This morning we did activity rotations! The campers got to make tie dyes, make a scrap book in arts and crafts, work in the jewelry porch, do improv games, and work on their cabin callouts for tonight’s welcome fire!
