Wintergreen Resort's Children's Program- fun for kids all year long! During the Winter, we are more than a childcare program... we are a ski program!!

We can cater up to 150 beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers aged 4-12 (up to age 14 for Mountain Explorers)... and provide childcare for 15 children ages 2.5-12. During the Summer, we offer exciting summer camps for children ages 5-12. We visit many of the resort amenities with the children, including The Spa & Aquatics Center, several of the hiking trails, Discovery Ridge Adventure Center

, The Nature Foundation and Lake Monocan. We have 4 rotating Camp Themes that include Science Week, Culinary Week, Nature Week, and Adventure Week.

CAMP WINTERGREEN has had an amazing start this summer! Thank you to all of the amazing families and kiddos who have been a part of this. We have had SO much fun since opening on June 21st.

Last week was Science Week, where we focused on STEM activities. The campers enjoyed blowing stuff up, building rockets, balloon hovercrafts, creating light-up cards, slime, indoor snow, and re-purposing materials to invent new items!

This week has been Culinary Week and we have put the campers to work! We decorated aprons, took a tour of The Edge Restaurant (and got to meet head Chef Adam!), made solar s'mores, banana-yogurt pops, cowpies/haystacks/cactus juice (for Western Wednesday), and had so much fun with our Smoothie Bar and Watermelon stamping today!

We swim each day, either The Spa or Lake Monocan, and EVERY Friday is Fun-Filled Friday where we spend the morning at Discovery Ridge Adventure Center... followed by a PIZZA PARTY, and swimming all afternoon.

Next week is Nature week, where we plan to spend as much time outdoors as possible, and Tues/Thurs at The Nature Foundation for some neat Nature activities!
