Horses are moved to their new location at Sunny M Ranch on Wolf Creek Rd near Winthrop WA. We are excited to wake up to them every day at our house:) snow is starting to melt a11nd we will be making more plans and announcements in the near future!

JD Outfitters is excited to inform people that we will still be offering guided trail rides, lessons, and wagon/buggy/sleigh rides. We are downsizing to a smaller program where we will still be customizing to the needs of the guests involved:)
We still have the Forest Service permit out of Chickadee Trailhead so we are able to haul to that trailhead plus we are looking into other options for ride locations. Rides will be by appointment and in advance only.
Guests will contact me directly so we can figure out the best scenarios to accommodate your needs. I will be continuing my "boutique" experience as usual! We appreciate any continued and new support along the way! More details to come.

A change is upon us. JD Outfitters LLC has made the difficult decision of downsizing our program and to remove our services from Sun Mountain Lodge. We went through a partial downsize in 2021 with the massive Cedar Creek Fire and we felt we couldn't expand big enough or fast enough to fulfill the needs of the lodge.
Sun Mountain Lodge is creating their own program at the stables with the help of Kit Cramer. They have hired Slade and MacKenzie Ginter to manage their program. They are super excited to be a part of the Sun Mountain Lodge experience.
We want to THANK ALL OUR GUESTS that have supported us on our journey at Sun Mountain Lodge. We are forever grateful for the friendships and experiences we have shared together. JD Outfitters LLC will be making updates very soon on our new adventures going forward.

That is a wrap! Thank you Christina Thompson and Andrew Johnson for bringing Lilly on my last sleigh ride of the season! Tiny and Gregory loved the pets and we had fresh snow and sunshine in the afternoon:)
