Mrs. Davis’ Tuesday/Thursday students revisit a timeline poster from earlier in the year. Timelines help children develop a foundational understanding of the concept of time, allowing them to grasp the sequence of events, identify patterns in their daily routines, and build a sense of predictably, which can foster security and independence in their lives; essentially, teaching them how to navigate the passage of time through visual representations and daily routines.

Mrs. Davis’ 3 day students are intently focused on constructing small block towers. Stacking play is a tactile method for your child to develop spatial concepts such as “under,” “over,” or “next to.” Research indicates that toddlers who hear spatial language during block play tend to excel in spatial problem-solving tasks.

Through their collective efforts, Mrs. Howell's class created an elaborate movie theater for the block center animals, exemplifying the multifaceted educational value of block play. This engaging activity cultivates essential skills in science, math, and language, while promoting fine and gross motor skills, creativity, and emotional development.

Through a nature hunt, Mrs. Sporysz's class investigated the dynamic process of seasonal change. Their findings included an assortment of natural elements, such as colorful leaves, sticks, acorn caps, lichen, and moss. Encouraging children to venture outdoors promotes experiential learning about weather, climate, ecological principles, and seasonal fluctuations.
