The CDC has announced that its COVID-19 Program for Cruise Ships, in effect since February, no longer exists as of today, leaving cruise lines to determine their own policies.

This is why your new passport and your old passport come in 2 different packages at different times.

You've received your new passport. Are you wondering where your supporting documents (such as citizenship evidence) are? They are sent separately because the passport is printed at a different location. It can take up to 4 weeks to get them back after you get your new passport.

Beginning June 12, air passengers will not need to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States.
