Genie+ and Individual Lightning lane recently underwent a new name change. Lightning Lane Multipass and Lightning Lane Single Pass

✨ New Name: Genie + is now Lightning Lane Multipass. Don’t worry, it still offers the same amazing benefits you love!

✨ What It Is: Lightning Lane Multipass and Lightning Lane Single pass is a paid service that allows you to skip the regular standby lines at select attractions and experiences in Disney parks. Think of it as your magical shortcut to more fun and less waiting!

✨ How It Works:
1. Purchase: You can buy the service through the Disney app on the day of your visit if visiting Disneyland OR check the slides to see when visiting WDW
2. Select Attractions: Choose the attractions you want to experience with shorter wait times.
3. Enjoy More: Use the app to check return times and head to the Lightning Lane entrance at your selected time.

✨ Benefits:
- Save time and enjoy more attractions.
- Plan your day more efficiently with real-time updates.
- Experience Disney magic with less hassle and more fun!

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW LIGHTNING LANE SYSTEM AT WALT DISNEY WORLD ❗️❗️

Disney has updated their Genie+ system again, more closely resembling the old FastPass system. Here is what's changing:

⚡️ NAME CHANGE
Probably the most confusing part is the name change. There have been so many name changes and additions to this system in the last several years...hopefully this is the last.

Genie+ (what was used to book a majority of rides) will now be Lightning Lane MULTI Pass
Individual Lightning Lane (which was used for select popular rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Rise of the Resistance) will now be Lightning Lane SINGLE Pass

🚨 BOOK IN ADVANCE
Starting JULY 24, you can schedule your attractions and rides BEFORE your visit. No more waking up at 7 am day-of to scramble and grab your first Lightning Lane 🎉

You can book up to (3) Genie+ (Multi Pass) return times and (2) Individual Lightning Lanes (Single Pass) ahead of your trip.

Guests staying on property at a Walt Disney World hotel can book up to 7 days in advance for you ENTIRE TRIP

Guests staying off property can book up to 3 days in advance

⌚️ For Park Hopping: After using your first selection of the day, you can go into My Disney Experience to check availability for another selection at your next park.

🙌 This is BIG news and should alleviate tons of stress while you're on your Disney World vacation!
