Our day started in Dubuque, Iowa. First stop St. Luke’s to view 125 Tiffany stained glass windows. Then back on the trolly for a ride to the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium before reboarding the Twilight Riverboat for our ride back down the river to LeClaire, Iowa.

Sunny day spent on the Golden Isles…Jekyll Island and St Simons Island, Georgia. The next 2 days we will be in St Augustine, FL! ☀️🙂
Savannah! We traveled in rain and ended with a beautiful sunny day! Very blessed to have left Charleston when we did…they had record rain fall!! 😳

We are off and runnng on our “Charleston, Savannah, Golden Isles & St Augustine Tour”
We stopped and watched the eclipse and even had a chance to shared our glasses with people around us. An eclipse to remember!
Today our touring started at the Boon Hall Plantation and Gardens with so much history and such beautiful gardens. After lunch we stopped by the Angel Oak a Southern Live Oak Tree on John’s Island, SC. Finishing our touring for the day at the Charleston Tea Garden where tea is grown in Wadmalaw, SC.

I had to add this video for you to see how windy it was when we got back this afternoon! It was taken from my room and people were driving on the beach yesterday...no beach today! It has given us a better sense of what it might feel like to be in a Hurricane, even though this is no where near Hurricane force winds. Sorry I had to breakup my two post...it won’t let me do photos and videos in the same post.
