Due to all the rain in the forecast the Weird Woodstock Walking Tour that was originally scheduled to take place this Thursday, Sept 26th, has been postponed to next Thursday October 3rd

The Weird Woodstock Walking Tour will highlight little known stories, funny facts, and unusual historical episodes, all related to Downtown Woodstock. It is Walking Tour Time in Downtown Woodstock!!! The Downtown WDSTK Walking Tour Series will offer guided walking tours that will explore various aspects of the area. On the last Thursday of the month, April - October, guided tours will be offered with each month’s tour covering a unique topic. On a tour you can learn about the history of the area, be amazed by beautiful public art, be fascinated by weird & unusual downtown facts, and explore the planning that has went into making Downtown Woodstock one of the top downtowns in Georgia.

The first walking tour of the year will be the "How Downtown Woodstock Revitalized" walking tour on Thursday April 25th. This walking tour will explore the re-development of Downtown Woodstock GA. Beginning in the early stages of the 2000’s, the city underwent a planning process that led to the creation of one of the top and most visited downtown districts in the southeast. This tour will explore how this transformation took place. Tours will be at 6pm, 630pm, 7pm, 730pm and will start at the Woodstock Visitors Center

The Discover Woodstock Scavenger Hunt has started!!!

The Discover Woodstock Scavenger Hunt takes place from March 22nd through April 27th. This event provides a unique experience as participants team up to gather photographic evidence of their journey through 100 different venues in Woodstock.

The event is free to take part in and no advanced registration is required.Teams will be competing to win a $100 Downtown Dollars Gift Certificate and many great prizes donated by Woodstock businesses

All teams that turn in results for the scavenger hunt will receive a special Discover WDSTK Scavenger Hunt decal sticker!
