As a comprehensive collegiate band program, the Holy Cross Bands offers year-round performance opportunities in marching, pep and concerts bands. Comprised of over seventy students representing nearly every academic background on campus, our students are dedicated to making music in service to Holy Cross with performances in traditional concert halls and spirited athletic arenas. Recent performanc
es by our ensembles have included venues such as historic Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts (2015), the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament in Dayton, Ohio and Spokane, Washington (2016), Yankee Stadium in New York City (2016), and the Patriot League tournament (2019) at Boston University. Students from all academic disciplines are invited to participate in the Holy Cross Bands as membership in all of our ensembles is open to any interested and qualified Holy Cross student regardless of major. The Holy Cross Wind Ensemble is the premiere ensemble on campus with additional bands including the Goodtime Marching Band, Crusader Pep Band, music department's Jazz Ensemble, and other chamber ensembles.
