Oh my gosh everyone! I'm so excited to announce that Universal's Epic Universe is opening May 22, 2025, and I can start booking on October 22: next Tuesday! The new Helios Grand Hotel will allow you to walk right into the park. A rainy day is STILL a great day to get on a cruise. Alas, I only toured the ship today and already got kicked off. But the recently renovated Norwegian Jade was fun to check out. It will be touring Alaska next summer. This is a smaller ship, which has its own charm.

A rainy day is the perfect time to brush up on my Virgin Voyages training. Did you know that Virgin Voyages has hammocks on their balconies? (They call them Sea Terraces.) The hammocks are sustainably made by women in poor communities in rural Thailand, who are well paid. Virgin has also eliminated all single use plastics, keeping about 2 million water bottles out of landfills per year. They offer itineraries in Europe and the Caribbean. So where do you want to go?
