We made it back with our new baby bison. It was a 14.5 hour round trip to Shoemaker Bison Ranch and back.
When this baby was born, it's mother got confused and abandoned him. Now he has to be bottle fed.

By the time we got home he was pretty thirsty. Lol.

His name is: Marlin

OK, this weekend is the kick off for H2H & Broken Trail Bowmen first shoot. Can't wait to see everyone there. Pit kitchen will be in full swing & I even have a mobile coffee stand coming in, woot woot. Saturdays dinner is between 5pm to 7pm or till supplies run out; pulled pork sandwiches w/coleslaw & dessert.

John turned some trees into lumber, then lumber into a hay feeder for the bison. It only has been 23 years without a feeder. Lol. It will be nice keeping the hay off the ground and waste less. We will be watching the herd to see if any modifications need to be made.
