This property was exactly what we needed! The apartment was very clean and well maintained making it such a pleasant experience. Even though the property is shared with the owners, they weren’t constantly around or hovering over us allowing us to enjoy our time together. We loved having the dock and availability of the kayaks so we didn’t have to bring us along for the long trip there. We found some small shops and cute little towns along with a wonderful winery all within a short drive from here. The owners also accommodated our reservation change request even on short notice which was extremely helpful to us. Thank you for opening up your property and allowing us to enjoy some peace and quiet. ~ David

A cozy little place to stay!
We were so happy to get a cute little place right on the water to stay while visiting family. My kids loved the soft blankets. They had the kayaks out and ready for us to use with life jackets and the dock had a gorgeous view. We also loved the lights around the fire pit. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay. - Rachel H.

What a find! We were looking for a place on the water with a dock for our 25 foot cruiser (shallow draft) that had accommodation for my father on land. The apartment was perfect. Super clean, comfortable, and stylish - with AC and kitchen. There is an outdoor fire pit with a seating area. Easy docking in wind protected waters. Floating dock with seating. Beautiful, quiet, scenic. Owners are on site and super helpful but not at all intrusive. Would absolutely stay there again - Lisa

The festival includes Fireworks (on Friday night), Tea Toss Reenactment, Colonial Parade, Block Party, Raft Race, Street Performances, Colonial Crafts, Strolling Musicians, Local Fare, 5k & 10 mile run – entertainment, education and fun for the whole family!

On Sunday the Festival moves to Wilmer Park from noon to 4 p.m. Beer Fest featuring local craft brews, live music, artisan craft vendors, plenty of children’s activities and the infamous Raft Race!

If you are looking for the best place to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Eastern Shore we recommend taking a quick drive over to Betterton Beach. We are about 6 minutes from the beach and you can't beat the view when the sun is going down. Or if you bring your boat you can go right around the corner from our dock out to the Bay and view it directly on the water!

"As a native to the eastern shore of Maryland, relocated to Southwest, Virginia, I booked this stay to visit with my children, and revisit the charm of Chesapeake living! Worton is one of the last remaining charms of the Chesapeake with beautiful and vast countryside set among a waterfront culture. The property is surrounded with nature, privacy, and an amazing waterfront that boasts peacefulness, tranquility, amazing, sunrises, and sunsets and awesome fishing! Even though the weather was a bit chilly and windy, the dock offered amazing views, and awesome fishing! we caught several catfish, including a 29 inch blue. That was my son of his life! The host were very down to earth, accommodating and eager to please! Amir mention of fireside plans for the evening resulted in the owners, setting up and lighting a fire for us with an ample supply of firewood, starter and lighter! Among the dozens of Airbnb’s, we’ve experienced over the years, this was by far one of our favorites!"- Ty
