🍷 Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival is officially underway and it’s full of delicious and interesting looking snacks!

🌮 There are plenty of returning favorites like the corned beef with house made chips, cheese curds, picked onions and beer-cheese fondue, plus some brand new flavors to try like the peanut butter and jelly wings and the very polarizing pickle milkshake!

🎃 Fall decor is starting to pop up in the Magic Kingdom! The first Halloween party is August 11 and pumpkins are starting to appear. The fall decorations are my favorite that Disney does, and I can’t wait to see them next month!

📷 The photo opportunities are endless at Universal Orlando! Harry Potter fans have so many iconic places they can capture themselves in - in front of the Knight Bus and Grimmauld Place! King’s Cross Station and Gringotts! In front of Hagrid’s Hut and on Sirius Black’s motorbike! And of course in front of Hogwarts!

⚡️ After your wand chooses you at Ollivanders there are so many places to practice “magic” around Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley! A special map that comes inside your wand box will show you where you can try it out… plus, there are a couple secret magic locations you can discover!

Did you know Harry Potter is celebrating his birthday in just a few days? To celebrate I’ll be sharing some of my favorite things about the Wizarding World at Universal this week!

You might recognize this dragon perched atop Gringotts Wizarding Bank from an iconic scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. If you time it right, you’ll be able to see her breathe fire!

🎢 Slinky Dog Dash is the only Walt Disney World coaster with two launches: at the beginning of your ride and halfway through after you pass under the bridge.

Why is the stop and second launch part of the design? Disney’s Imagineers purposefully crafted the coaster to imitate the movement of a toy. This second launch captures the feel of a pull-black, wind-up, and launch toy!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is almost here and it’s time to preview some of the ghostly treats you can enjoy! 🎃🍫 Some of the items I’m most looking forward to trying are:

Witches Cold Brew: French Vanilla Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew topped with pumpkin-spiced foam and Halloween sprinkles!

Terrifyin’ Twice-Spiced Chicken Sandwich: Spicy fried chicken breast dipped in hot honey and topped with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño poppers, and bacon!

Tombstone Tart: Flaky pastry filled with strawberry-jalapeño jam and topped with sprinkles and sugar spiders!

It’s !

The walk from Mexico to Canada in Epcot’s World Showcase is 1.25 miles without stopping at any rides, character meet and greets, stores or food locations! That makes for a pretty long walk… or a pretty short one if you consider you’ll be strolling through 11 countries!

🍿 Disney is known for their collectable popcorn buckets and their newest, the Cinderalla coach is one my favorites yet! The best part about purchasing the popcorn bucket is that you can get it refilled as many times as you want during your trip for only $2.25! This makes it an excellent snack option in the parks.

🦈 Universal Orlando is filled with fun photo ops, but this one is my favorite! While exploring the park make sure you stop and get your picture taken with Bruce!

💦 One thing you need to make sure to leave time for at your Disney resort is a day to enjoy the pool! Whether you’re staying value, moderate or deluxe, your resort is going to have a wonderfully themed pool for a day of fun and relaxation. Each resort also has its own pool bar where you can grab some delicious snacks and drinks while you luxuriate!

The resort has Little Mermaid themed rooms, and family suites themed to Finding Nemo, Cars and The Lion King! 🦖 Jurassic Park celebrated its 30th anniversary yesterday and Universal Orlando is celebrating! For a limited time you can visit the Jurassic Park tribute store, filled with movie memorabilia, exclusive merchandise and a dessert case filled with Jurassic Park themed goodies! Limited time drinks, snacks and meet and greets are also happening!

🌎 Universal Studios Florida celebrated its birthday this week… and the only ride from opening day still operating is the ET adventure! This ride is full of extra-terrestrial animatronics and exotic plants and is definitely an experience! I rode this when I visited as a young kid, and was able to take my kids on it last year!

💥 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of the newest, and fastest, rides in Disney World. You’ll be called into action to help the Guardians on an urgent mission where you'll rewind, rotate and head towards the action through an exciting space pursuit.

🎶 Cosmic Rewind features six songs, and it’s completely random so you never know which one you’ll get until your ride launches. The six songs are:

“September” by Earth, Wind & Fire
“Disco Inferno” by The Trammps
“Conga” by Gloria Estefan
“Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears
“I Ran” by A Flock of Seagulls
“One Way or Another” by Blondie

One person gets chosen for the special ceremony every show, and my daughter was lucky enough to get chosen during our trip for her 11th birthday! It’s so magical (and I absolutely cried)!
