😏🤯 Want to know a cruise secret that may go against everything you thought you knew?! Don’t choose a midship room for your balcony stateroom; choose an AFT VIEW balcony stateroom 🚢. These babies are different from just being in the aft (back) section of the ship. These are the rooms ALLLLL the way on the back of the ship 🌅. Your balcony will give you completely unobstructed views of wherever you are sailing, you will be mesmerized by the constant views of the wake 🌊, and some cruise lines even have extra-large rooms and balconies for their aft view rooms ✨.

Now, these are not necessarily called “aft view,” so you have to specifically choose these staterooms carefully. They will be some of the first rooms to sell out, and you surely won’t get one if you do a “guaranteed” stateroom booking. So I do encourage my guests to let me know if there are specific rooms and areas they want, so I can match them with the best possible stateroom! 🛳️

Alright Disney foodies, let’s talk about the weirdest Disney snacks you’ve tried around the parks 🍿. You know, the ones that make you wonder, "Who came up with this and why?" 🤔

I would say the most interesting food I've ever purchased would be at Epcot during the Food & Wine festival. Very cool looking dishes and snacks. I was delightful to find out they were still delicious as well. 😁

From chocolate-covered bacon 🍫🥓 to fruit sushi 🍱 and cheeseburger spring rolls 🥢, Disney has made some bold choices over the years. What’s the weirdest snack you dared to try, and tell us if it was a winner! ✨

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 While you’re taking a little break to check your socials, let’s ponder this…what if we flipped the script on how to do Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World? Instead of stressing over those hard-to-snag holiday DINNER reservations (looking at you Liberty Tree Tavern 👀), what if we started the day with a big BREAKFAST FEAST? 🍳 We could kick off Thanksgiving morning at an all-you-care-to-enjoy spot. ✋Alright, hear me out—Universal’s holiday lineup is seriously underrated 🎄. Why not shake things up and experience Christmas the Universal way? I’ll give you a little preview:

Move over Polar Express, all aboard the Hogwarts Express! 🚂 Christmas at Hogwarts is as magical as it sounds. Snow-covered rooftops, twinkling lights, and hot Butterbeer...it’s a true gift for any Harry Potter fan 🎩🧙✨.

The Macy’s Holiday Parade brings the charm of a New York City Christmas right to Orlando, complete with Santa 🎅 and all the festive feels without freezing temps 🥶!

And let’s not forget about 💚🎄Grinchmas in Seuss Landing! The Whos go all out, and you may even spot the Lorax rocking a Christmas bow 🎀!

I have been a huge fan of the Grinch since I was just a wee Who 👶🎅🏻🤶🏻 I certainly can't imagine a Christmas season without him. But all the areas of the park are so full of Christmas cheer I just love it all!!

📺 Okay, so the TV isn’t the main reason you booked your Disney vacation, but it’s got some pretty cool features you’ll appreciate. For starters, that “Welcome Home” screen when you first step foot into your room is the perfect way to get into vacation mode 🏰✨. Did you know in addition to featuring the current weather and park hours 🌞, it comes with a lot of free Disney programming? From classic animated movies 🎬, Disney+ series, and even Happily Ever After fireworks 🎆, there’s always something fun to watch for a quick break or a family movie night before bed. Plus, at select resorts, you can even stream your own shows on smart TVs, so you won’t have to avoid social media for fear of spoiling your latest show obsession 😉.

Having park info at your fingertips is great. We definitely enjoy falling asleep to music.

😮🎉 So, you decided to skip the traditional Thanksgiving this year and head to the Wizarding World instead? In my best Harry Potter voice, “Brilliant choice!” 🧙—because is there a better way to spend the holiday than wandering the streets of Diagon Alley with a Butterbeer in hand? 🍻 But even if you’re passing on the turkey and stuffing, you can still get some seriously cozy comfort food at Leaky Cauldron. Bangers and Mash, Cottage Pie, Shepherd’s Pasty Pie, Beef Stew… and an assortment of other “stick to your ribs” options 🍲✨.

All of these options sound just lovely and even more so....NO DISHES!!!! You wouldn't have to twist my arm for that!

Who says you need turkey and cranberries to make Thanksgiving special? 🍂 Sometimes a Muggle just needs a plate of wizarding comfort food 🥧. If you were at Universal on Thanksgiving day, would you seek out a traditional sit-down meal, or completely forgo the big meal? 🍽️✨

Not the camping type? Trust me, this is NOT ROUGHING IT 🏕️. Have you taken a look at the new cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground yet? Scroll through these pics! 📸 You may decide you are a camper after all. There is room for 6, a full kitchen with all the gadgets you need 🍳, bunk beds 🛏️, and two separate bathroom sinks 🚰. All this tucked away in the cozy Wilderness woods 🌲 just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom 🚤.

I'm definitely not a sleeping bag and tent kind of girl but these are wonderful with just the right cozy furnishings & amenities. Who's ready for a friends trip?
