🛞🚙🎶🇮🇹 Looking for a fun, whimsical way to start your day at Disney California Adventure Park? Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is the perfect choice! This isn’t a thrill ride (not by a longshot), but it is a delightful, dance-filled experience where Luigi’s cousins from Italy take you for a spin across the dance floor. Each car moves in sync with songs like: "Rollicking Night and Day", "Mambo Italiano", "The Tire-antella", "Eh, Cumpari", and "Funiculi Funicula", making every ride unique! Of course I have a couple of pro tips:

📌While the morning crowd rushes to Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi’s is often a walk-on.

📌Try it at night! – Neon lights + festive music = an extra magical (maybe even a little romantic) experience!

This family-friendly attraction is a perfect way to ease into an exciting, full park day—or to simply take a break and soak in the charm of Cars Land, and boy, does it have truck loads of it. So. Many. Photo ops! 📸🥳📸

Love the Cars area! Try Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters in the morning AND in the evening for a totally different experience!!

🔥🔥HOT TAKE MOMENT, and I’m fully prepared to face the wrath of you….The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is the BEST of any EPCOT festival. There, I said what I said! But let me share why...

Many of us are coming out of a 🥶coooollllddd and dark winter, so that warmth and sunshine just hits differently in the spring. ☀️🌸🪴 The topiaries take center stage, with tons of these beauties located throughout the park. Don’t worry if you primarily hit up EPCOT for snacking, because all of those kiosks are in bloom too! 😋🌯

➡️ What’s more, the Spring Break crowds are spaced out over much of March and part of April. It seems like the fall crowds all come together during the same week or two in October during that “other” festival, but there can be a bit more breathing room depending on when your Spring Break lands. (Psssst....I can help you navigate the best time to go!)

All of the festivals at Epcot are amazing, but the Flower and Garden Festival is SOOOO beautiful. Definitely a winner in my book! DO NOT miss the butterfly garden!!

🚫🥤Let’s get real for a second—if you’ve been to a Disney park lately, you know those paper straws are... not magical. They’re soggy by the time you hit the second sip, and if you’re enjoying a Dole Whip float or milkshake, good luck. 😒

♻️🌏 🥰🤔But here’s the thing: Disney’s switch to paper straws is part of a larger effort to reduce single-use plastics and protect the environment. It’s a small, commendable step with a big impact, but it doesn’t make those paper straws any easier to love!

So, what’s the solution? Be prepared! Bring your own reusable straw (there are tons of collapsible and easy-to-clean options out there), or pick one up at the parks—many shops sell cute themed reusable straws if you want a magical upgrade. 🫢 Or you can just skip the straw altogether!

I'll be honest I'm not a big fan of the paper straws. Much more into having a reusable straw of metal or rubber. And no lid....well I do prefer to keep miscellaneous things from flying into my drink.

👉 The bottom line? Paper straws might not be perfect, but Disney’s commitment to sustainability is something we can all get behind. And with a little planning, you can sip in style and save the planet one drink at a time. ➡️ OK straw lovers, let’s hear from you! 🎳💾🪀 Let’s talk about Disney’s Pop Century Resort—because while it’s not a deluxe (or even moderate) resort, for so many people, it’s HOME. And honestly, it’s easy to see why! Pop has this vibrant, fun vibe that celebrates the nostalgia of decades past, from larger-than-life decor to fun nods to everything from yo-yos to floppy disks (remember those?). But there’s more to Pop than just its charm—it’s packed with perks that make it a fan-favorite, especially for multi-generational trips.

🤑 For starters, it’s a Disney Value Resort, which means you’re saving some serious cash while still getting all the perks of staying on property (hello, early park entry!). 🚠 And thanks to the Disney Skyliner, Pop Century guests have quick, breezy access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. It’s like having a deluxe-level transportation option at a value price. Score! 🙌

✅ It’s also the perfect middle ground for big family trips. Grandparents can appreciate the throwback vibe (and food court with plenty of options), while the little ones will love the colorful, oversized characters around the resort. And for everyone else? Affordable rooms and fun pools make it a no-brainer.

Although I yet PERSONALLY stayed at Pop Century, I have had clients who love it there and it's on my list to stay at next!

If you’ve ever loved fairy tales ✨📚 or marveled at intricate little details—whether it was playing with dolls 🪆, building epic Lego villages 🏠, or creating your own imaginary worlds 🌟—Disneyland’s Storybook Land Canal Boats might just surprise you. It’s not the flashiest attraction in the park, and it’s certainly not an “E-ticket” must-do, but wow, does it deliver on the feels for us grown ups. 💕

🏰🧜‍♀️❄️🧞‍♂️ Tiny castles, lush gardens, and perfectly detailed villages bring to life classic stories like The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Aladdin and more. Whether you’re admiring the craftsmanship or just reliving your childhood, there’s something undeniably heartwarming about it. And it’s a completely, dare I say, better experience after dark!

I think I had a million Lego bricks as a kid. I loved being able to create whatever I could dream up. No limitations!

Can we put a price tag on memories? Absolutely not! That’s why Disney Cruise Line’s photo packages are such a great way to capture those magical moments. 📸🛳️✨ If you’re familiar with PhotoPass or Memory Maker at Walt Disney World, there are some key differences to know:

📸 Photo Package Options: Choose an unlimited package (cheaper if purchased before your cruise, with pricing based on trip length) or go smaller with a 10-photo package. You can also buy individual photos if there are only a few you want.

🤔 Who Needs to Be in the Photos?: With the unlimited package, someone from the room with the package must be in the photo. Unlike Memory Maker, it can’t simply be shared with other people.

🕒 Timing is Everything: Select or purchase your photos by the last night of your cruise—photos aren’t available on debarkation day or after the cruise. Don’t miss out!

⏳Delayed Access: Purchased photos can take up to 48 hours to show up in your account after the cruise, but they will appear if you bought them in advance or onboard.

I ALWAYS get a photo package. Time in the parks or at sea MUST be celebrated and memorialized for the rest of our lives. I LOVE IT!!!

🌤️🏰 Is there anything better than those first few hours at Disneyland? I mean, come on—the way the sun hits just right, casting that perfect almost angelic glow on Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A., as the park starts to wake up? 🧚🏻 Pure magic. You’ve got the sweet smell of churros and popcorn already wafting through the air 🍿(because obviously, snacks are life), and that upbeat Disney soundtrack mixing with the buzz of guests in matching shirts planning their day? 🧑‍🍳😘Chef’s kiss. Early entry is where it’s at, folks. Short lines, fewer people, better 📸 photo ops and the absolute joy of breezing through the park like a VIP. 😎 If there’s ever a time you feel like this really is the happiest place on earth, it’s first thing in the morning!

Being at the head of the pack means great chances to ride the most popular rides without a long wait. Also it's cooler in the morning which makes for lovely walking weather.

🚨 What makes Disneyland’s rope drop so much better than Walt Disney World’s is that if you stay on property or at one of the closer Good Neighbor hotels, it’s literally steps to the front gates. 🤯 So no getting up HOURS before the park opens. Disneyland is just SO. MUCH. EASIER. Easier while offering all the feel good things that make you a Disney fan. ☝️🍽️ Taking a theme park or cruise vacation solo might sound a little unconventional, but trust me—it’s an experience you’ll treasure! 🥹 Imagine TOTAL FREEDOM to do exactly what you want, when you want, with no compromises.

Here’s my two cents on this topic:

🤹‍♀️ With no one else’s schedule to juggle, you can design a day that’s all about you! Stop to smell the roses, grab that 10am churro, pop into every shop at World Showcase, or go all out with rope drop to park close. The choice is yours!

💪 Hear this: traveling solo doesn’t mean traveling alone. Be mindful of your surroundings and stick to official tours or excursions—but don’t let fear hold you back. Exploring on your own can be incredibly empowering and rewarding.

😬 The idea of solo dining is probably the most intimidating but it’s a treat! Take time to savor your meal, people-watch, or enjoy a character meal – characters often spend more time with solo diners.

Although I have not traveled alone, I think the best part of it would be doing EXACTLY what I want, when I want to. No waiting for others to ride rides you aren't interested in.

❤️‍🩹 As Rafiki says: “The past can hurt.” This is especially true if the past involves bad shoe choices in Disney parks. 🙈 Do not choose style over comfort, you will regret it. 🚶‍♂️A typical guest at Walt Disney World clocks about 18,000+ steps a day. Not to mention it often rains, can be blistering hot and on top of walking, there’s also a lot of standing involved. Your feet really work overtime!

I always choose a broken pair of trusty sneakers. ONE TIME I made the mistake of not fully breaking in my shoes before going and it's a mistake I'll NEVER make again!

👑🏰 The queen of all princess castles has got to be Disneyland Paris’ Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (translation: Sleeping Beauty Castle). You may want to fight me on this, but first let me make my pitch – it has an animatronic dragon! 🐉🔥I don’t think I need to say more, but I will.

🏰✨Visually stunning, guests are welcome inside where not only are you presented with the retelling of the original story through readings and tapestries as you walk up around and through, but you feel as if you’ve stepped inside the fairytale. 🌹🪞✨Snoring life-sized guards, impressive stone pillars, stunning stained glass windows, winding staircases...it’s all so fantastic! Then you head below to the Dragon’s lair. You may find her sleeping, but not for long...🐉💨

Cinderella's castle is gorgeous and HUGE, Sleeping Beauty's castle is a little more subdued and approachable. Both are beautiful in their own ways.
