I will always encourage my clients to purchase travel insurance. Clients will often say “I am going on this trip no matter what”. You can’t control illness, flight cancellations, etc and that is how insurance can save you money. My family is still trying to get home from a vacation that was supposed to end yesterday and we lost the first day of our trip due to flight cancellations. Thankfully we have insurance and can submit all these extra expenses for reimbursement.

Yesterday we took a tiger boat tour of the island which included cliff jumping, snorkeling and a stop at Sandy Island. Located just off the coast of Anguilla, Sandy Island is a small island surrounded by a reef. The island was completely under water after hurricane Irma and slowly started to reappear 6 months later.
