Youngstown Holiday Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting

Youngstown Holiday Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting The Youngstown Holiday Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting is an annual event held on the first Friday of December in downtown Youngstown.

The City of Youngstown and Youngstown CityScape with the cooperation of media partners WFMJ and WKBN as well as the Downtown Youngstown community are excited to host this year’s Holiday Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 1st, 2017. Activities including:

- The Vindy's Perform Live on the main stage at 6:00pm and again at tree lighting time.

- Parade at 6:30pm

- The

Christmas Tree lighting and Santa’s arrival at approximately 7:15pm followed by pictures with Santa in 20 Federal Place. Other coordinated activities include:

- Youngstown Flea Holiday Flea (Market) at DeYor Performing Arts Center

- YSU Student Activities sponsored “Dueling Piano’s” at Suzie's Dogs & Drafts.

- Free admission to OH WOW! Children's Center from 5-7:30pm

- Youngstown Cinema presents "The Wizard of Oz" at 8pm.
