Happy Travel Tip Tuesday!
Today's tip is bring an empty water bottle on your vacation!
If you are flying you can bring a water bottle as long as it is empty.
This will help you in the long run with not always looking where to get water or having to drink fast before a ride.
This also helps with having to find a trash bin or recycle bin when you have to use single-use cups.

Happy Travel News Thursday!
Starting in 2024 the ETIAS, also know as the European Travel Information and Authorization System, will require a travel visa for 30 European countries when boarding flights or cruises.
Here are a few of the key details regarding the visa:
1. It cost about 7 Euros or $7.40
2. You will need to pay the cost if you are between the ages of 18 and 70 years old.
3. If you are younger then 18 or older then 70 it is free to apply
4. You will need to apply through the ETIAS website of their mobile application.
5. You will receive a submission received email.
6. It can take anywhere from a few min up to 30 days to receive your approval of application.
7. The site has not launched this process as of yet.
8. You will need a current passport, it can not be expired and must be within 3 months of expiring.
9. The Visa will be valid for 3 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
10. The Visa will be linked to the persons passport so it will be available to border agents through the passport. If you would like to print out the approval, that is welcome as well but not needed.

If your passport needs renewing and you have noticed the extremely long turn around times lately, then you may want to wait for the State Department to open up online renewals later this year. This will help to streamline the process and hopefully cause quicker turn around times. And you don’t have to do any hard copy paperwork! WIN!

Happy Saturday Spotlight!
This week we are highlighting autism friendly locations. Besides Disney (which is autism friendly) the Beaches Resorts are known for there Austism-Friendly vacation spots.
The Beaches Resorts are starting an Autism-Friendly kids camp in select locations. They have certified staff and follow the ACAC and IBCCES.
"Beaches has partnered with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), a global leader in online training and certification programs."
Beaches provides a sensory guide for the 3 locations of Turks & Caicos, Negril, and Ocho Rios on their website.

Happy Monday Memories!
This memory is from our Universal trip in 2022 for a birthday.
We stopped by Mythos Restaurant that is right before Hogsmeade and Jurassic Park. It had wonderful Greek cuisine with lots of options including vegetarian and vegan.
We got the Lemon Hummus as a starter, it had an awesome citrus taste that was not too overwhelming and fit well with all the toppings. The charred pita was nice and fluffy and not to filling.
Our vegetarian got the Spinach and Garlic Ravioli, and though she was concerned about the spinach and the green color she absolutely loved the meal and finished it all!
Jenn's husband had the Mythos Signature Lamb Burger and said that it tasted great and had amazing flavor.
I (Amanda) got the Mezze Platter for my main meal because I love hummus and it did not disappoint.
Jenn had the Spanakopita Dip and it provided a refreshing and light meal so that we could continue to ride all of the park rides (including our favorite Velocicoaster).
If your family decides to go to Universal we highly recommend this cool interior restaurant for a nice stop during your day.

Our tip for this week is to splurge for the travel insurance. Though it isn't always fun, it is important when booking travel to plan for things to go imperfectly.

Flash back to this past weekend our amazing sister get away to celebrate Amanda’s 30th birthday!
We did all my (Amanda’s) favorite things, beach, puzzles, and yummy local food spots!
I accidentally got burnt on day 2, so the towels were necessary 😊

Cruising is back and better than ever! There are lots of cruises that stop through the Bahamas, and specifically, Nassau. For this week’s Monday Memories, we take you to the Margaritaville Resort located about 15 minutes from the Nassau cruise port. It was a great option for our family to have a relaxing day with access to their water park, including a surfrider, beachfront area, food, drinks, towels, and restrooms. So, if you have been to Nassau and want to try something new or if it is your first visit and you just want to have a good time, the Margaritaville Resort is a great option for your port day.
