On November 2nd, Yuma Explorer Post 8245 held their Completion of Probation Ceremony. Our explorers have been hard at work since mid-June and now, that hard work has paid off. This past Saturday, PT looked a little different for the Yuma explorers. They put in a lot of hard work and great energy into our defensive tactics class last week. The advisors thought some 2 hand touch flag football would be fun! Additionally, the explorers took a quiz pertaining to 10-codes and the phonetic alphabet.We had another guest instructor this week. Today Post 8245 conducted their monthly PT test. They need to run a mile and a half under 15 minutes, sprint 220 yards under 46 seconds, do 20 pushups under a minute and 25 sit-ups under a minute. Every week we notice improvement from the Explorers in PT! In the classroom they took a quiz based off information they learned last week.
