We are Jason and Angee Jordan and we want to welcome you to CONNECT! Sitting in our same pew over the years, we realized there are people we see every service that we don't even know your first names, or if you have kids, etc.,and we are sure many of you feel the same way. CONNECT is our opportunity to do just that-connect with those we may not get a chance to get to know at church outside of chur

ch service. This group is geared toward everyone aged 20-54(We have other age specific groups for younger and older folks). We will be meeting once a month for CONNECT EXPERIENCES doing fun things like hiking, tailgating, shopping trips, canoeing, etc., and of course eating! We will try to alternate events monthly to be family friendly, then adults only. We encourage you to step out and join us as we have a stirring in our hearts for more commUNITY in our church, just like in Acts 2:45 where church was just more than a gathering. It was a place to build families and help one another, grieve, support, and pray for each other. Keep up to date on our events here, and WE CAN NOT WAIT TO TO MEET YOU AND CONNECT!!!

Update: We are canceling due to the rain today 😞

Praying the weather holds out! Last time it just sprinkled for a few minutes then was beautiful the rest of the day! If by chance it’s looking like an all day rain fest we will cancel. Fingers crossed and prayers going up! See you Saturday!

EVENT CANCELED DUE TO RAIN!!

Helllllloooo! It’s been a minute since we’ve used our page but just wanted to post our next event!!! McDonalds Greenhouse Oct 14 th @ 10 am! This event is for all ages! Seasoned Warriors- Pulse- Kairos it doesn’t matter just join us! The kids will have a blast. Cost is $9 per person, check out their page for more details. Dream team here bright and early getting things ready for the Seasoned Warriors 5 year Anniversary Dinner!!

We need you!!! On Saturday September 17th we need volunteers to help decorate, cook and serve for a precious group of people, Seasoned Warriors 🧡🤎💚. It’s their 5 year anniversary and we have volunteered to take care of this dinner. The dinner starts at 5:30 but we will be working all day.
We will need a couple people to cook, a couple people to set up/decorate and would love to have 6-8 people to serve. Any questions just ask. Angee Vanoster Jordan ☺️

Happy New Year everyone! 🥳 Thank you for everyone who joined us throughout 2021 at our events! Our goal this year is to try some new things and do some outreach because that’s what this is all about! Please invite people to come with you! Please step out of your comfort zone and come to these events if you haven’t yet! We want to get to know you!

What are your thoughts about an overnight trip this year to see the ark encounter?! We would love to make this happen but it will take some work to get it together if there is enough interest!

Taking a poll guys! Our next event date will be October 23, but we’re undecided between two venues:

Walnut Creek Farm or McDonalds Greenhouse.

The farm has the wagon ride to feed the animals and other fall events. It would be $10.75 if we have a group of 15 or more. We enjoyed the farm but the wait could possibly take awhile for the wagon ride. It is worth the wait though!

McDonalds greenhouse has a wagon ride/petting zoo plus the other fall events. It would be $8 per person, but if we register as a group, we would each get a free small pumpkin. ( You have the option to buy a bigger one)

This will be family friendly so kids included. What are your thoughts?

We have a challenge for you!!! TFG CONNECT is normally a tool we use to try to connect to church members outside the four walls of the church. Today we challenge you to CONNECT with your FAMILY. Take some time to read the word together or play some praise and worship together. Make sure your kids know it’s still great to take the time today to spend with God. Then we challenge you to go outside and take advantage of this snow!! Drop your pics below in the comments👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼of your fun snow ❄️ day!

Ministry and church are super important, but so is taking time to spend with your family!! ❤️I know it can be hard to stop what you are doing because we think oh we have some extra time today to get something done. It can wait. I promise. Others can wait. Turn off your phone for an hour and CONNECT with your family. They will remember it more then the clean house or work thing you had to get done 😊

This. Just a little hello is sometimes what someone struggling needs. Do me a favor this weekend. If you know someone having a hard time, shoot a message saying you are thinking of them. If someone you haven’t seen for awhile pops in your mind, text them. Just to say hi. They may need to know someone is thinking of them. It’s sometimes just the little things that get us through. ❤️

TFG Connect

Hello and Happy 2018!!! I have been M.I.A. For awhile but going to be back at it on here to keep you all up to date with our CONNECT experiences to come! Thank you for the support through 2017 as we began this new endeavor and being patient with us as we are learning as we go. Some of the things we have planned in the near future with dates to be announced are as follows: 1.❤️Sweetheart banquet (please don’t be deterred if you are just one and don’t have a sweetheart, it’s really just a fun gathering with great food!) 2. 🗑Volunteer service day (work but we will make it fun!!) 3.Family 🎣 Fishing Fest 4.Columbus ⚾️ Clippers game 5. Drive in Theater 🎥 night. Sounds like a great time doesn’t it!!! Details and event pages to come once dates are decided. Again thank you for your support and can’t wait to see you all there!!!!
