Exciting news! A ribbon cutting ceremony was held yesterday at Joe’s Run Recreational Trail to celebrate the addition of the newest StoryWalk!
What is a StoryWalk? It is a series of framed posts each containing a page from a children's book. As you walk the paved trail, you read a new page from the story!
Joe's Run Trail is located at 1555 Newark Road in Zanesville and parking is available at the Ohio University- Zanesville Campus.

Elfie Week 2 - Public Safety
Oh boy, Elfie sure had a fun week learning from the professionals at the Zanesville Police & Zanesville Fire Departments! We asked him if he was thinking of a career change after the experience. He says while he had fun and learned a lot, he can't leave Santa hanging and will keep his gig at the North Pole.
A sincere thank you to all involved at both departments for showing Elfie a good time!
Elfie is off to another spot in downtown Zanesville! Be sure to keep an eye out and snap a selfie if you see him! 👀
