Guess what arrived today? 40 fishing poles and tackle boxes for the 40 kids we have signed up to take fishing this year! Now, we need boat captains and shore volunteers. We currently have 7 boat captains and 12 shore volunteers! We need a lot more to see these kids smiling faces out on those boats! Please share with all your friends and family. This is a wonderful event. It is October 5th!

The annual Cast For Kids event on Rayburn is October 5. If you have been part of this event in the past, I am sure you will be back this year. If you have not volunteered for this event yet, you are missing out. Once you are part of these kids' day of fishing, you will be back year after year. So many of the volunteers tell us they enjoy it as much or more than the kids do. It is truly rewarding. Here is the link to sign up as a shore volunteer or a boat captain.
