Position: Sales Team Member for Farmer’s Markets
Immediately seeking an outgoing individual for Saturday morning assistance at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market located at 6001 N Rural St, Indianapolis, IN 46220. This is a temporary sales position expected to last until the end of October with the possibility of continuing through November.
Qualifications
•Ability to work every Saturday (7:30am-12:30pm) until end of October 2023.
•You must have excellent customer service skills (answer questions, small talk)
•Some common knowledge about fruits and vegetables and at least the interest to learn
•You must be comfortable handling cash payments, making change and using Square POS
•Work in an extremely fast paced outdoor environment and comfortable standing for long periods
•Able to lift at least 40lbs
Responsibilities
•Help set up stand with tents, tables, crates of fruit/vegetables, boxes, display stands, signs, etc.
•Help with sales, help customers, weighing with digital scales ,bagging produce, collecting money from customers.
•Assist with mini cider donut operation as needed
•Organize and refill products and supplies as needed
This is a temporary seasonal position. Pay $15/hour. Please DM if you are interested in this opportunity.
