Our goal at Méntores, is to help as many kids with their daily responsibilities while learning more about themselves and the world around them.

Our mission is to help kids with their school assignments, still, working with them as wholes. I began my journey with education in 2008. After studying Counseling, I felt I wanted to help kids in a holistic way. So, I presented myself as a substitute teacher, at Lincoln School in Buenos Aires, where I graduated from High School. After 2 years of working with kids from ages 4 to 12, I decided to b

ecome a class teacher myself, after I was invited to work at a school in Uruguay. Following this experience, I came to realize, that the way I wanted to work with children as whole humans, was a one-on- one work. Back in Buenos Aires in 2011, I presented myself back at Lincoln, but this time, as a tutor. The idea of Méntores began in 2014, when the demand for tutoring time became so considerable, that I decided to incorporate more people to work alongside with me, instructing them on how to work holistically with the children. At this moment, Méntores is a staff of 5 tutors, working daily with kids from ages 8 to 17, bringing support in all subjects which include Math, Science, English and Spanish. Our priority is to give these kids a safe and “feel good” environment, so that their re-learning experience happens in an integrated and comprehensive way. Our mission is to help kids with their school assignments, still, working with them as wholes, not just students, but humans.
