Another great day on the water! We swam with a sharks and found sunken treasure!
Ok the shark was a remora and the treasure was a pair of purple shorts. But hey, they fit Brymeris and he’s rocking them on this photo.

We had an amazing day on the water sailing and saw a TON of awesome marine life with these delightful folks. Hands down our favorite "school of fish" was the one aboard the boat with us - thanks to the lovely Fish family from Scranton, PA!

Creature Feature: Scrawled Cowfish

These are some of the more unique fish we see when snorkeling in the Caribbean. The species can get large for reef fish at nearly 20 inches. You can distinguish these fish from their relatives, the trunkfish/boxfish, by the horns above the eyes. These horns also give them their cowfish name.

Making a simple product switch (you'd never even notice) can have a big impact on the coral reefs we enjoy so much. Good on Hawaii for leading the charge! Use reef safe suncreen folks!

This Fantasy Never Fades

It’s been a little while since you’ve heard from DaySail Fantasy.

Life’s full of challenges, and getting slammed by two of the most powerful Category 5 hurricanes ever recorded by man over the course of 2 weeks is certainly a doosy! Needless to say that like all Virgin Islanders, it’s been a tough time for Sara and I as we were just starting this incredible new journey in our lives.

Our goal is to have DaySail Fantasy back and running by mid-February –with a shiny new boat- ready to once again excite and delight our guests with magic of our beautiful Caribbean home.

Over the next several weeks we’ll be sharing our journey to resurrect DaySail Fantasy along with stories of hope and healing from the islands.

We’re excited to have you all aboard for the journey and hope to see you on the water soon.
