However anywhere you go on St. Croix the Beach is never more than a few minutes away. There is a spacious swimming pool overlooking the Sea steps from your front door. The condo is well appointed with everything you need for a night inside or a day at the beach. Upon request our on island team can meet you at the airport or even stock the condo with groceries so your vacation can begin the moment you arrive. Loggerhead sea turtles are 's Day 5 sea turtle! Loggerheads are named for their giant head 😂 They have massive jaws that can easily crush large whelks and crabs. Florida hosts the second largest nesting aggregation of loggerheads in the world, but a couple of special loggerheads call Buck Island Reef National Monument their home, here in St. Croix! Loggerhead and hawksbill sea turtle hatchlings look very similar, and they rely on floating mats of Sargassum out in the open ocean as their home until they get a bit bigger. There they can find tiny insects, crabs and other small creatures to eat!
