Starfish Hideaway - St Thomas USVI

While visiting Starfish Hideaway, there are a number of beaches within a short distance away. One of these beaches is Cowpet Bay Beach. Beautiful views of smaller islands off the coast as well as a quiet but active marina to watch boats come in and out.

Just a 5min drive away. Free parking right next to the sand for easy access to quickly settle in and relax.

Looking for an adventure? Head over to the dive shop right at the end of the beach to rent snorkel gear, kayaks or other non-motorized water-sports.

Need to refuel from the adventure? Follow the sand over to Sangria's Beachside Bistro for lunch or a beach cocktail. They also serve breakfast Mon-Sat. Cheesy Pesto Bread Sticks are our favorite!

Full day but not ready to leave? Walk right off the beach into Caribbean Fish Market for dinner and watch the sunset. Ahi Tuna Nachos to start and the Filet Mignon as the main event are our go-to!

Wow, 8 years ago we took a leap into real estate and not by buying our first home, we bought a vacation home on an island. So much has happened in 8 years, but the one thing that stands out is being able meet so many amazing people and sharing it with all of you.

We said then and still say today, "I don't know where I want to live but I know where I want to vacation!" :)

Fun story: In 2013 we were visiting St Thomas for the very first time. We were staying at the then Marriott Frenchman's Reef hotel and never left the resort until so many people told us to visit the island of St John. We finally did and wow did getting off the resort open up our eyes to what the islands were about. Culture, foods, people, beauty and the lush landscapes... oh, and of course the donkeys on St John. During that trip on the ferry just as we were leaving Red Hook I noticed a series of buildings sitting about 20ft from the ocean. I didn't know what they were, condos, apartments a housing development? I had no clue where they were but we daydreamed about owning one some day on that ferry to St John. Fast forward, we got married in 2015, honeymoon in 2016 on St John, but during that trip we again took notice of those building and how amazing it would be to own one some day. Then a lightbulb went off. I started poking around at real estate and the only thing we could afford happened to be a unit in one of those buildings 20ft from the ocean. We knew it was meant to be!

We've welcomed over 200+ reservations over the past 8 years for a wide range of reasons - family vacations, birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, graduations, "it's freezing where I'm from", weddings, bucket list item, and the list goes on. You never need a reason to visit for us; just book and come relax!

Summer is here but it can be hard to tell in the Virgin Islands as it's in the 80F's all year long!

Trunk Bay Beach on the island of St John USVI has been ranked the #1 beach in the world!

Hop on the ferry for 15mins to St John from Red Hook to visit this amazing beach.

An annual survey has ranked St. John’s Trunk Bay the No. 1 beach in the world, according to the V.I. Tourism Department.

Hi Everyone!
I'm the new edition to Starfish Hideaway - St Thomas USVI. My name is Sago Palm, I'm not really a palm tree just look that way. I may look and feel fake but am very much real and living. If you break my leaves or branches they will die and take quite a while to grow back so just trust me. You don't have to bring me in or let me out as I hang out on the deck full time. If I'm down pick me up but no need to water me I'm sober these days and naturally get my fill like a cactus or succulent plant. My only ask is that you enjoy your morning coffee or sunsets with me!
