Captain Ryan showed off his mixology skills at the Cocktail Contest. Sponsored by with Grey Goose and Captain Morgan.

Drink #1 was a homemade bacon infused grey goose Bloody Mary. Served with a jumbo prawn, gherkin, cherry pepper, pearl onion, and a Buffalo cheese stuffed olive.

Drink #2 was a play on the famous Dark and Stormy. Made our own by making sous vide ginger syrup and pumpkin pie bitters, Captain Morgan, and club soda.

Let’s see how we did at the awards ceremony on Saturday night!

2020 VIPCA Yacht Show - day 1

SWO hosted a luncheon for the press and the assistant commissioner of tourism for the US Virgin Islands. There was champagne, wine, and Captain Ryan’s new twist on a Dark and Stormy.

For lunch our guests had a chilled red pepper coulis and corn purée, lump crab cake, jumbo poached prawn, and crispy polenta. They finished lunch off with a sous vide chocolate pots de Crème. Everyone left full and happy!

And as always, a big shout out to for the beautiful arrangement!
