Hawksnest 6/1/20
1st day St John was open after its Covid closure. It was so naturally beautiful and peaceful and quiet and like the St John I fell in love with so many years ago. You can still capture this beauty for yourselves if you visit in the off season or if you come to one of its beautiful beaches early in the morning or late in the afternoon
How good it feels to scratch that itch!
This St John donkey knows exactly how to meet his itchy needs at Maho Beach
Late Afternoon at Maho Beach before Maho CrossRoads
This was my 'go to' place in the evening after a long, stressful day. I knew I could always relax here and find peace, quiet and solitude. Unfortunately it is no longer like that on the south side of Maho now that Maho Crossroads is here. I know some of you love it, some of you hate it. I obviously am not a lover of it but it meets some needs. I now have to go to the far right of the beach to meet my particular needs. But regardless, please enjoy this part of the not so long ago history of Maho.
