The renowned American news outlet CNN has even praised it as "one of the most fascinating tunnels in the world." It’s no coincidence that this destination makes such a strong impression on both visitors and international media.

According to information on the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism's website, the Cu Chi Tunnels were created during the anti-French colonial resistance period from 1946 to 1948. They were entirely hand-dug by the military and people underground for the purposes of concealment and storing weapons.

MEKONG DELTA AND CU CHI TUNNELS

Depart at 8.00am – Finish at 18.00

We provide hotel picking up and dropping off service for some of places in district 1, Ho Chi Minh city.

Then going to Cu Chi tunnels, a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed and used by Viet Cong soldiers during Vietnam War will be given. We will then spend time to explore the maze of tunnels with countless trap doors, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, kitchens, and more.

Proceed to Mekong Delta, stopping at a local restaurant on the way to enjoy a lunch of Vietnamese Cuisine.

After lunch, you will arrive to the pier boat . Take a leisurely boat ride in Tien river to enjoy fresh air, to see the peaceful life of the local people, Passing the stilt house, the fishing floating farm, the four Islands (Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, Unicorn)

Then cruising to Thoi Son Islet that locates on Phoenix Island. Take a leisurely walking on the village paths, visit local people’s home, orchard garden and enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music.

Then visit honey bee farm and taste delicious honey tea with lemon that is really good for health. Local people also have python farm for those tourist, who like adventure can take a photo with pythons.

Take a hand- rowed sampan through the creeks for sightseeing the natural water coconut trees a symbol in the Delta areas.

Return to the motorized boat then cruising to Ben Tre province, visit coconut candy workshop to know how to make delicious candies by hand.

Then cruising to Unicorn Island to visit crocodile farm and visit the remains of Coconut belief.

Then take a short walking through the narrow village path to the van

Return to Ho Chi Minh city around 18.00.
