ABOUT QUANG BINH TOURISM
Quang Binh (VNA) – Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is among top experiences in Vietnam voted by Lonely Planet, a renowned travel guide book publisher, for another year. The national park, located in the heart of central Quang Binh province, came third on the 2019 list. Lonely Planet describes Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Quang Binh as one of Vietnam’s most spectacular national park with “jagged hills shrouded in verdant rain forest and mountain river coursing through impressive ravines” above ground. Underground, “a fortunate selection of travellers can experience the cathedral-like chambers of Hang Son Doong, the world's largest cave,” it says.
Not only Son Doong Cave, Quang Binh also has many other famous caves for visiting such as Hang En Cave - The world third's largest cave; and Paradise Cave (also known as Thien Duong Cave) which is now one of the most frequently visited caves in Vietnam - the otherworldly stalactites, which tumble from the cavern ceiling like waterfalls, and sculptural columns never fail to impress visitors.
In addition, there are many beautiful beaches to relax such as Nhat Le or Da Nhay (Dancing Stone) under Da Nhay mountain pass. The best time to visit Quang Binh is summer from May to September. At that time, you can climb up the mountains and swim down in the sea at the same time for the whole day fresh.
