Starting on May,9 Laos is ready to welcome international travelers. If you are vaccinated you just need to get a visa (you can do it online or upon arrival at the airport) and bring your vaccination certificate, and this is it. If you are not fully vaccinated - you are required to take a Covid-19 ATK test within 48 hours of your departure for Laos. No need to do tests upon arrival.

Nightlife returns to Hanoi’s beer street!

The Old Quarter, Hanoi's food and beer central and a symbol of its nightlife, is again buzzing as beer shops and restaurants are allowed to remain open until midnight.

Last week city authorities allowed food and beverage places to remain open until midnight. Since November there had been a 9 p.m. curfew as part of Covid-19 prevention measures.
Some foreigners were hanging out with beer and popular foods like fermented pork roll, mozzarella sticks and chicken feet pickled with lemongrass and kumquat.

Vietnam fully reopened to visitors last Tuesday after nearly two years of closures and restrictions. It has resumed its visa waiver policy for citizens from 24 countries, including Japan, South Korea and several in Europe.

Reopen direct flight connect San Francisco and Ho Chi Minh City!

Vietnam is fully open for international traveler since 15 March, and with that, international flights were officially resumed by late March.

US citizen who wants to travel to Vietnam now can enjoy a direct trip with Vietnam Airlines to Ho Chi Minh City instead of transit in other airline hub, which help to save a lot of time.

Late last month, Vietnamese airlines began resuming flights to Australia and Europe, bringing dozens of thousands of overseas Vietnamese homes during Lunar New Year, or Tet.

Following the removal of restrictions on international flights, Vietnamese carriers have begun announcing plans to resume its international network.

Visitors can travel freely in Vietnam with negative Covid test!
On Wednesday, 16 March 2022, The Ministry of Health said that foreigners entering Vietnam are not required to quarantine, instead they only need to furnish a negative Covid-19 test certificate. The test must have been done using the RT-PCR method within 72 hours before departure or the rapid antigen methods within 24 hours. Those who cannot take a test before arrival have to be tested within 24 hours after entering and can leave their accommodation if they are not infected.
Visitors are required to monitor their health for the first 10 days after arrival, install PC-Covid app during their stay in Vietnam and notify medical staff if they have symptoms of Covid.
Children under two years are exempt from testing.
Vietnam fully reopened its borders on Tuesday after nearly two years of closure.
The same day the government announced the resumption of visa waivers for citizens of 13 countries, including Japan, South Korea and several in Europe.
