𝐌𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐚 (Vietnamese: Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long) also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây), is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries.

💥GREAT NEWS - Vietnam's Ministries agree to fully reopen borders for tourism from March 15

⚡At a government meeting today, February 15, 2022, several ministries of Vietnam have voiced support for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's proposal to fully reopen international tourism and lift all travel restrictions from March 15.

⚡Accordingly, the Ministries have proposed the Government to stop restrictions on Vietnam visa issuance, unilateral and bilateral visa exemption.

⚡If this proposal is approved by the Government, the foreign tourists arriving in Vietnam do not need book tour packages with designated travel agencies as per the ongoing vaccine passport trial program launched in November last year.

💥Proposed Vietnam entry requirements
✅Have a passport of at least 6-month validity
✅Have a full-vaccination certificates with the 2nd dose administered within 6 months, or a certificate of being recovered from Covid within 6 months (for travelers aged from 12)
✅Have certificate of Negative Covid-19 Test Result (test taken within 24 hours prior to Vietnam arrival in case of rapid test, or 72 hours in case of RT-PCR test)
✅Have valid Vietnam entry paper (if required)
✅Install at least 01 app for health management as regulated by the Vietnam authorities
✅Have a health insurance (to cover Covid Treatment)

💥Proposed Covid test upon arrival in Vietnam
🎯In case of entering by air
✅Those showing Covid symptoms would have to undergo a rapid Covid test when they land at the airport.
✅Other travelers would spend one-day quarantine in their hotel or accommodation facility until they furnish a negative Covid test result (rapid test or RT-PRC test),
✅All would continue monitoring their health for 14 days as per the protocol of the Ministry of Health.

✅Travelers would get rapid Covid-test when reaching the land border, and then monitor their health for 14 days
