D**g Xuan market known as Cho Lon (Grand Marché) or Cho Trung Tam (Les Hallss Centrales) located in Ha Noi Old Quarter was first opened in 1889 when French people replanned people who used to gather to trade on two plots of land next to Cau D**g Pagoda (Hang Duong Street) and next to Bach Ma Temple (Hang Buom Street) to the empty land of D**g Xuan ward. Despite its age, the old D**g Xuan Market was a hub of activity, attracting both locals and tourists who came to browse its wares, sample local foods, and engage in lively bargaining with vendors and continues to be a popular destination for those looking to experience the unique blend of history and commerce that defines Hanoi.

Some might not have heard about it because the destination is not yet on the list of mass-tourism-destinations but Con Dao is trully one of the country's most blissful beaches, best snorkelling, many other water activities and even hiking.

* Chilling on the beach
Most of the beaches in Côn Đảo, especially the main island Con Son are accessible easily. While Đất Đốc, Đầm Trầu beach has clear water stretches wide light, soft sand and is surrounded by green hills, Lò Vôi is a pebble beach partly filled with shells. If you move a little bit to the south of the island, a visit to An Hải Beach is a must. According to marine researchers, Côn Đảo has more than 1,300 marine species and remains rich in biodiversity. In addition, the waters around the islands are officially protected, so it is considered one of the best diving and snorkeling spots in Vietnam.
* Trekking through the national park
There are so many hiking options to chose in Côn Đảo island, either hike up to the archipelagos highest mountain, trek through Con Do national Park or walk along the coast to reach different beaches, you will enjoy it! The treks in Côn Đảo mainly organized and guided by park rangers and local guides so it will be better to place a visit to the national park office which is located at 29 Vo Thi Sau Street.

You can access the waterfall from either Gia Lai or Binh Dinh province. While getting to K50 from Gia Lai is quite easy with the use of transportation, from Binh Dinh, it is definitely a great experience for people who love hiking with the start of 5km on a tractor and a 14 km trekking route. The best time to visit K50 waterfall is during the rainy season, from May to October when the water flow is particularly strong, creating a spectacular display of nature's power.

With its 3444km of coastline, Vietnam lends itself very well to a thriving fishing industry. After ships have unloaded their precious daily cargo, owners urgently need to make sure that their vessels are in good shape for the next journey. They only have a window of a few days to get their ship into order, and that is where net menders come in.
Unlike sailing, this is a not-too-strenuous indoor job that people can even do in their spare time. There are no schools or classes for it; the art is passed down from expert to expert. With a brief look, a seasoned mender will know exactly what thread to choose and where to start. Observers may be astonished at the speed of menders’ hands flitting across the nets, but it only takes a few days to get the hang of things. People can take anywhere from 3 to 9 months, even a year, to truly master mending. Experienced menders don’t have the time to teach new ones, so they mostly learn by copying.
Net mending is heavily tied to the rise and fall of fishing. Whether they brave the sea or steadfastly fix the nets every day, everyone in a fishing village contributes to, and hopes for, ships’ return to the harbor, weighed down by fish and shrimp.

Vietnam is a nation blessed with a diverse cultural heritage, encompassing 54 distinct ethnic groups, each with its own intricate nuances and unique values rooted in its customs and traditions. Among these, the Red Dao ethnic group stands out for their ornate costumes that are a testament to their rich cultural heritage.
The traditional attire of Red Dao women is replete with tops, pants, headscarves, belts, and other accessories. Their costumes are a harmonious amalgamation of five fundamental colors, namely red, blue, white, yellow, and black, with red occupying a paramount position as the predominant hue. For the Red Dao, the red color embodies auspiciousness, prosperity, and fulfillment.
The head scarf is one of the indispensable points of Red Dao women. The scarf is decorated with many motifs with white, blue, yellow, and red threads on the entire face of the towel.
Red Dao women commonly opt for the simplicity of black or indigo Ao Dai. These Ao Dai are further embellished with intricate decorative motifs, embroidered delicately with red thread, which are tied to the neckline and chest of the shirt, accentuating the overall charm of the ensemble.
Red Dao women's pants are usually pure black, without patterns, but at the bottom, the motifs are very sophisticatedly embroidered. The decorative patterns on the two legs are usually squares, red, yellow, white rectangles or pine trees, and fillings creating a harmonious balance for the whole outfit.
The costumes of the Red Dao people in each locality are basically the same, but there are also differences that create richness and diversity in the colors of Dao culture.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇'𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦?

In the 1980s, the H'Mong community, originating from Phi Hai commune in Quang Uyen district, Cao Bang province, began migrating to the Central Highlands. From 1992 to the early 2000s, there was a significant migration of the H'Mong people to the Central Highlands, ranking third among the northern residents who migrated to this region (after the Tay and Nung groups). The H'Mong people are now present in five provinces in the Central Highlands, with Dak Nong having the highest concentration and Kon Tum having the lowest. In Dak Nong, the H'Mong population is mainly concentrated in Dak Glong (12,000 people), Cu Jut (4,500 people), and Tuy Duc (4,000 people).
In contrast to the inhabitants of the Northern mountainous region, the traditional culture of the 11 local ethnic groups in the Central Highlands has several similarities. Therefore, the presence of northern ethnic groups in the western highlands has added new, diverse, and intriguing colors to the Central Highlands culture.
