Mai Chau boasts intricate fabrics woven by skilled weavers on ancient looms. Enjoy a bit of bargaining at the Sunday morning market, where ethnic minorities dressed in traditional clothing showcase their craftsmanship.

The White Thai people, renowned for their warm hospitality and culinary skills, offer fantastic home-cooked feasts. For lunch, consider trying the famous 'Met' - an authentic dining experience featuring a delightful spread of 6 or 7 dishes that capture the flavors of the region. Water is vital to the Vietnamese, sustaining rice production in river deltas and providing the key ingredients for our staple fish sauce and seafood and this tour will offer you insights into central Vietnamese fishing customs and traditions ingrained in the local culture for a century."

Arriving at the port at 5:00 am, the time when the fishing boats dock after a day of making friends with the ocean, our local tour guide will share interesting facts about fishermen’s everyday lives, how they enjoy their lives & their distinctive culture.

Thousands of fishing boats return home with various types of aquaculture. Fresh, living seafood such as squids, fish, crab, snails, and so on. Our local guide will accompany you to the harbor, explain the specifics of the fish, and assist you in communicating with the people. Nothing beats experiencing the true local routine of the port and daily life there while sipping Vietnamese coffee and immersing your spirit in the beauty of morning moments.
After capturing some interesting shots, our guide will take you to a local fish sauce factory to understand how they handcraft the highest quality fish sauce.

After a local breakfast, the next stop is a local family to see how they manufacture the Hoi An basket boat, which is a typical fishing instrument among Hoi An fishermen.

The Cam Thanh Water Coconut Forest is the final stop on our Hoi An Sunrise Fish Market Tour. Now comes the fun part: learning and practicing how to manage and paddle the basket boats.
After the tour is finished you will be dropped back at your hotel.

Trang An Grottoes is an amazing part of the Trang An Landscape Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The area is a natural wonderland with towering limestone peaks, winding rivers, and hidden valleys. The grottoes themselves are a series of connected caves and tunnels, and the only way to explore them is by boat. You'll be able to take in the stunning rock formations and breathtaking scenery as you glide through the grottoes.
When visiting Trang An, you don't want to miss out on the nearby Bai Dinh complex. This place is a haven for Buddhist temples and pagodas situated atop a hill with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The main attraction here is the Bai Dinh Pagoda, which is the largest pagoda complex in all of Southeast Asia. It's over 500 hectares and boasts several temples, shrines, and prayer halls. Visitors can wander through the temples, take in the panoramic views from the hilltop, and learn about the history and significance of this sacred site

𝟑. 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐚

If you are a nature lover, don't miss this!
Van Long Nature Reserve is a nature lover's dream! With over 100 of the rare Delacour's Langur swinging around in the vibrant limestone ecosystem, and a whopping 722 plant species (8 of them on Vietnam's Red Data Book), this place is a biodiversity hotspot.
But wait, there's more! You'll spot 100 different bird species in the stunning bird garden, including Chinese pond herons, cattle egrets, and white storks.
Hop on a boat and explore the "wave-free bay" where the clear water reflects like a giant mirror, revealing layers of moss and algae. Be prepared to be wowed by the striking landscape of limestone mountains, each named for its unique shape. And, oh my goodness, the 1000 caves are an absolute must-see! Don't miss Ca, Rua, B**g, and Chanh caves.

𝟓. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐚 𝐋𝐮, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥
Hoa Lu was once the capital of Dai Co Viet, the former name of Vietnam. This small ancient city was a natural fortress, protected by karsts and rivers from invading forces. Today, it remains a great destination for those looking to delve into the history of Vietnam.

𝟔. 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬
Ninh Binh is a paradise for cyclists! There are amazing paths that wind through stunning scenery, giving you an unforgettable off-the-beaten-track experience. Cycling allows you to see more of Ninh Binh than trekking, and it's a great way to enjoy the cool breeze while exploring temples, churches, and villages.
Tam Coc - Hoa Lu (7km), Tam Coc - Kenh Ga (30km), Tam Coc - Van Long (40km), and Tam Coc - Cuc Phuong (45km) are all fantastic routes to explore by bike.
You can easy hire your bikes in Ninh Binh. Some hotels even let you use their bikes for free.

If you are visiting Ninh Binh for a day trip, choose between Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave or Bai Dinh - Trang An or Hoa Lu - Trang An - Mua Cave.
If you'd like to avoid popular hotspots we'd highly recommend visiting Van Long Nature Reserve on a day trip. It is beautiful and not as crowded as Trang An or Tam Coc

Mai Chau: Only 4 hour drive from Hanoi, Mai Chau feels like a different world with lush valley, mountainous views and delicious northern style cuisine.
Our favourite option in Mai Chau is 𝑨𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕, a high end resort surrounded by beautiful hills, mountains, paddy field and a natural waterfall. The villas are stylish, spacious and luxurious with ceiling to floor window offering amazing mountainous view!
We also love 𝑴𝒂𝒊 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒖 𝑬𝒄𝒐 𝑳𝒐𝒅𝒈𝒆, an eco resorts surrounded by mountain and paddy fields.

𝗣𝘂 𝗟𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴
I've yet to find somebody who doesn't love Pu Luong.
Endless mountains, fertile valleys, pristine jungle, forest sounds, grazing water buffalo, quaint villages and hamlets... Pu Luong is a dream especially if you are outdoorsy and want something rather off the beaten track.
Our favourite place in Pu Luong is 𝑷𝒖 𝑳𝒖𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕, perhaps the hotel with the dreamiest view you can imagine!

𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗵
Only 2 hour drive from Hanoi, Ninh Binh is a mesmerizing area known locally as ‘Ha Long Bay on Land’ thanks to its riverine landscape, with sheer limestone mountains rising up from the paddy field.
Our favourite resort in Ninh Binh is 𝑻𝒂𝒎 𝑪𝒐𝒄 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏. The resort is especially famous for its beautiful gardens and stunning views of rice paddies and limestone formations! Sunrise and sunset views are rather magical, if you ask.
We also love 𝑵𝒉𝒂𝒎 𝑽𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒕 ! This resort has the most idyllic surroundings and a unique ambiance that, when you arrive, you will instantly feel relaxed! Think water lily pond, lush green mountain, spacious rooms with a rustic feel. The swimming pool is beyond beautiful, and their Moc spa, located in a 100-year-old house, is excellent. Their bicycles are free for you to explore the area, or you can also sign up for a boat rowing class!

There are many cruises in Ha Long Bay but it is true that not all of them are created equal. Some of our absolute favourites are 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆, 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆, 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒂𝒔, 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆 and 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆.

The Mekong Delta is a vast and beautiful region of Vietnam, known for its tropical climate, tasty food, friendly people and of course the floating markets!

Only two hours from Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll find yourself immersed in rice paddies, coconut groves and mangrove forests.
While you can get 'taste of the mekong' with one day trip, a 2 or 3 day trip or longer will cover the best of what this region has to offer!

What's more, you can fly directly to Phu Quoc from Can Tho airport so why not spend some days chilling at the beach and make it a proper escape?

𝑫𝒂𝒚 1: 𝑯𝒐 𝑪𝒉𝒊 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒉 𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 - 𝑩𝒆𝒏 𝑻𝒓𝒆
Leave the bustle Ho Chi Minh City behindfor Ben Tre - the coconut kingdom. Arrive at a charming homestay, hidden under hundreds of coconut palm trees, by the Mekong river. Enjoy a fresh coconut before checking in your room. Relax then join a family member foran introduction to local fishing. Return to the restaurant at the end of the afternoon and join in a cooking class of “Bánh xèo” – a southern Vietnamese delicacy. For dinner you will enjoy many local dishes that are typical of the Mekong region. A lemongrass and ginger foot bath will be prepared in the evening so you can truly relax before bed.

𝑫𝒂𝒚 2: 𝑩𝒆𝒏 𝑻𝒓𝒆 - 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒐
After breakfast, start cycling to the island of Oc on a concrete track, lined with fruit & coconut trees On the way, pass by a local market which will give you a glimpse of the local life.You will also visit a coconut basket factory and join the owner to learn about different braiding techniques (this activity is subject to availability) Take a local ferry to reach a small island. Continue your ride along small paths and lush surroundings. Stop at a fish farm and learn of two of Vietnam’s most popular species of catfish: Ca Tra & Ca Ba Sa. Tour ends with a boat ride back to your homestay. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Can Tho.
