Located on a hill to the right of the Tam The Buddha temple of Bai Dinh pagoda, this statue has been recognized as the largest Maitreya statue in Vietnam by the Vietnam Book of Records Center. The area of 10m high bronze statue, weighs 80 tons is a famous photography spot in Ninh Binh of tourists when coming here.

Located in Truong Yen, Hoa Lu District , Ninh Binh province. Surrounded by mountains, Tuyet Tinh Coc is an isolated world. This place is very scenic and mys-terious at the same time. It was chosen by King Dinh as a place to detain and execute prisoners. Am Tiem Cave rested halfway up on the mountain slope. The road to the cave is quite a rugged one, tourists must climb through 205 stone steps along the cliff in order to reach it. From a distance, the cave resembles a dragon’s mouth, from which it got its name Dragon Cave. On the top of the mountain lies Am Tiem Pagoda, where Queen Mother Duong Van Nga spent the last years of her life as a nun.

Phat Diem stone church is 28km southeast of Ninh Binh city, located in Phat Diem town, Kim Son district. Phat Diem stone church is the common name for the most beautiful church area in Vietnam, an architectural complex built of wood and stone for 24 years (1875-1899) on an area of 22ha. Although it is a Catholic church, it is modeled after the traditional communal and pagoda architecture of Vietnam.

The stupa of Bai Dinh pagoda (Ninh Binh) has 13 floors, 100m high. This is the highest Stupa in Asia and the place of worship of Xa Loi (ashes) Buddha Shakyamuni was brought from India to Bai Dinh pagoda in 2008. Around the walls inside the Stupa are carved with pictures about the life of Buddha. Paintings carved into rare gemstones, colors, lines also create mystery like the life of Buddha.
