09:30 – Start your trip at your host’s house by having a welcome drink. Short break at your host’s house
10:00 – Cycling around the village, then stop at the local market (occurred only on the odd days of the Lunar calendar) to have a real experience about how the locals sell their own products for a living or head to the traditional Miến village (“Miến” is a type of fresh noodle made from a starchy, tuberous fruit named “dong”), if the trip is in Winter because “Miến” is just made in a certain time from September to December. Besides, this Ba Vi Eco Tour bring you a chance to enjoy the rice fields while cycling from the foot of the Ba Vi mountain to Da River.
11:15 – Arriving at Mường ethnic’s house – Mr Chau. Hands-on farming experiences by growing vegetables and harvesting the raw vegetables in Chau’s garden. Vietnam is a tropical country with the most famous variety of raw vegetable herbs such as lettuce, mints, fragrant knotweed, coriander, balm-mint, cilantro and so on from farm to table – this is the way the local people not only have fresh food to eat but also have enough to trade at the local market..
In this Eco Tour, you can also join a fishing tip with Mr. Chau on the Da River. You will get in a small boat where you experience a local fishing man’s work . Mr Chau will teach you his local unique technique to hide a trap in the river and catch up fishes.
Your morning will end with a boat trip down the Da River on which you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and explore the local life on the riverside!
12:45: Have lunch with the host’s family and short break after lunch
After the lunch Mrs Chin will take you around her village and you will visit the local workshops. You will learn how to make tofu, unshell the rice and will see the workshop of local hammerer who is working there for 70 years and makes and fixes all the farming tools (and not only) in the village.

15:00 – You say goodbye to your localhost and head to the 30-year-old tea fields in Ri Village. This place is very essential at providing tea products for the whole north of Vietnam. Besides walking and helping local people to harvest tea leaves, you will know how to pick the best part of the tea tree to make the most wonderful beverage in the world.
After tea cultivating trip, you will come to Mr. Duoc’s house. He is a veteran and the owner of a large tea farm. He also is an expert on handling the raw tea leaves and making it into the products he sells on the market.
Have a break time with desserts made of ground green lentils or lotus seeds and listen to the host’s stories about the Vietnam war. As a witness of Vietnam’s history, he will help you understand the former times of this country.
Drive back to Ha Noi in the evening, end your Bavi Eco Tour at hotel around 18:30
