Tuesday, December 6, 2022:

The cold starts to pervade.

We'll get similar conditions for the next week or so. Highs around 20, steadily getting a little colder. Mornings are feeling fresh. Down to 12 degrees for a low next week. The sun doesn't come out much for the next few months. Stock up on Vitamin D. I'll have your Christmas forecast ready in about a week.

It's going to be a cold January and February. Single digits maybe. Winter solstice is fast approaching. Shorter days in the northern hemisphere.

Traffic has increased significantly. This is the Tet and Christmas rush blended together. Be careful on those roads. They are possibly more dangerous than living in medieval times.

If people are wearing 3 parkas and 3 scarves already, what will they wear in January when the 'wet-cold' comes?

I'll have more news on the weekend.
