We have exciting news to share! Cong will present Onetrip with local at ITB Berlin in March 2025. The ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) is the world’s largest tourism trade fair. This milestone represents our first step toward bringing Onetrip with Local to a global audience, furthering our mission of sharing local Vietnamese stories with the world. As we celebrate our 6th anniversary of running tours, our team looks forward to entering our 7th year with fresh ideas and renewed energy.

While studying in Leipzig, Germany, Cong explores Europe’s rich history during his weekends, gathering valuable insights to enrich our guests’ experiences in Vietnam. He recently attended the Berlin - Beyond Berlin’s History - making sense of the present learning from the past to understand event, learning about Europe’s Cold War history and sharing these perspectives with our Onetrip with local team.
We’re thrilled to share our story and forge new connections at this special event.

As Vietnam celebrates the long holiday of Labor Day and Reunification Day, our team has a heartwarming story to share about one of our newest members. Lê Yến, a bright and ambitious 20-year-old girl, recently joined our team and embarked on an exciting journey of learning and personal growth. Despite a challenging and demanding training period that lasted for two months, Yen persevered and remained committed to acquiring new skills and knowledge. She eagerly followed her guides' instructions and worked tirelessly to achieve mastery in her craft.

Now, after completing her training, Lê Yến is more confident than ever before and has taken the next step in her career by hosting tours on her own. She has shown remarkable dedication and a strong work ethic, which have earned her the admiration and respect of her colleagues and supervisors. Her hard work and determination have paid off, and she recently received her first positive reviews from guests, which filled her with joy and happiness.

In the past few weeks, Onetrip with local team has spent a lot of time and effort on training.

We've had long training sessions to teach our new hires how to give tourists visiting Vietnam a great, authentic experience. We made sure to hire young people who speak excellent English and love Vietnamese culture. We think this will help our new guides give travelers from all over the world amazing service while they explore Vietnam's rich history and culture.

We are proud of this experience that helps guests understand the history of Vietnam, especially during the war.

Furthermore, 35% of the profits will be donated to the military veterans' wives who recently lost their husbands, and to the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.

“Highly recommend this tour for three reasons. First, Quang and Cong have setup a tour that tells a story about Vietnam and Hanoi. It takes the traveler through town from the Vietnamese perspective of the “American War.” Secondly, the tour and storytelling involves going to areas and visiting places that tourists normally don’t go. Some of these areas cannot be accessed without local knowledge. Finally, the business of these tours supports great charitable work by Quang and Cong. Highly recommend for old and young.”
